You have a few different options for where to stay when visiting Epic Universe: On-site hotels, off-site hotels, and short-term vacation rentals. It's important to carefully consider your priorities and what will do the best job of giving you the experience you want:
On-Site Hotels
Description: The Helios Grand, Stella Nova, and Terra Luna are hotel options on the Universal Studios Orlando property.
Pros: The travel time is next to zero, especially if you stay at the Helios Grand. Your stay might also come with Express Passes.
Cons: These tend to be more expensive options, and most rooms aren't very large.
Off-Site Hotels
Description: There are several off-site hotels in the Orlando area from popular chains available, ranging from budget to luxury.
Pros: These options are easier to afford and make it easier to do non-Universal activities.
Cons: Travelling to Epic Universe will take longer, and you'll miss out on early admission
Short-Term Vacation Rentals
Description: Direct rentals from owner, rather than a larger hotel or chain.
Pros: This is often the most spacious and personal option of where to stay.
Cons: Quality levels can vary, and you likely won't receive the same level of service as you would at a hotel.

How long does it take to fully explore Epic Universe?
If you want to fully explore Epic Universe, you should plan to spend at least 2 days in the park. If you're fine just visiting the highlights, you can explore it in 1 day.
Another popular option is to extend your trip for a full Universal Orlando vacation. Spending 5-6 days gives you enough time to explore all of the parks, and possibly some of the other parts of Orlando.
What time of year should I visit Epic Universe?
There isn't one "best" time to visit Epic Universe, as it depends on your priorities. Regarding time of year, you'll want to consider crowds, special events, and deals.
Less popular times of year generally offer better promotions, and shorter wait times. However, if you care about special events and/or your schedule restricts it, higher-demand seasons might be your only option.
If you have the flexibility, you should also decide which day of the week best fits your needs. Sundays are generally the least crowded days, while Mondays tend to have the longest wait times – keep in mind, though, that these are variable and can be subject to the particulars of any given day.
Can I bring food into Epic Universe?
Universal's official food policy generally does not allow you to bring in outside food or drinks, especially alcohol. There are a small number of exceptions, though: Park policy allows you to bring in up to 2 liters of bottled water, as well as food required for medical reasons, special dietary needs, and/or baby food.
Coolers also face restrictions: Only a soft-sided cooler smaller than 8.5"x6"x6" is allowed. Whether or not you're bringing in a cooler, it is a good idea to bring in a refillable water bottle.
Is there free water available?
Yes! There are a variety of water bottle refilling stations available within Epic Universe, and they are free to use.
But even if you don't have a water bottle, you don't have to be dehydrated. The dining areas around the park will give you free water cups.
are bags allowed inside of Epic Universe?
Bags and backpacks are allowed within Epic Universe. Don't forget that it will have to go through a security inspection prior to you entering the park.
Keep safety in mind, though – you'll have to store your backpack in a locker before going on some of the rides. These lockers use facial recognition technology as a locking mechanism.
Is Epic Universe cash-free?
Epic Universe is not a cash-free park. The only park that is currently cashless at Universal Orlando is Volcano Bay.
Some people still prefer to avoid cash in Epic Universe, particularly for food. The app makes it convenient to order your food early without waiting in line.
When should you get to the park?
To avoid the lines as much as possible, try to be at the gates 30 minutes early. Most days, that means arriving at 9:30 AM, or 8:30 AM if you have early admission (keep in mind that park hours are variable).
Be sure to include extra time for transit and security.
As soon as people get in, they tend to go to the most popular rides. You can either try to beat the crowd, or visit somewhere else while the lines are shorter and loop back later.
