If you are spending a full week (or longer) in Orlando, that gives you time to explore Epic Universe completely and still check out some other local attractions.
When is the best time to visit Epic Universe?
When you visit Epic Universe should reflect what you value most in your vacation. Regarding time of year, you'll want to consider crowds, events, and deals.
Less popular times of year generally offer better promotions, and shorter wait times. On the other hand, higher-demand seasons may have higher prices, but also more special events and (typically) easier scheduling.
If you have the flexibility, you should also decide which day of the week best fits your needs. Sundays are generally the least crowded days, while Mondays tend to have the longest wait times – keep in mind, though, that these are variable and can be subject to weather and special events.

You can bring a bag or backpack to Epic Universe. It will have to go through security and needs to pass an inspection before entry.
The main thing to keep in mind is what size backpack to bring – you'll likely have to store it in a short-term locker for some of the rides, so something smaller is generally better. These lockers use photo validation technology to ensure each guest has access to their items.
Is Epic Universe cash-free?
Epic Universe is not a cash-free park. The only park that is currently cashless at Universal Orlando is Volcano Bay.
That said, there are arguably some disadvantages to using cash at Epic Universe, namely the food orders often take longer. The app makes it convenient to order your food early without waiting in line.
How early should you arrive at Epic Universe?
Ideally, you should arrive at Epic Universe at least half an hour before opening. Generally, the park will open at 10:00 in the morning, while letting people with Early Park Admission in an hour early (this can vary depending on events and projected attendance).
When planning your schedule, don't forget to account for travel time and getting through security.
As the park opens, the top attractions are most people's first stop. You can either try to beat the crowd, or visit somewhere else while the lines are shorter and loop back later.
