Description: On-site hotels like the Helios Grand, Stella Nova, and Terra Luna are all owned and operated by Universal and are located on-property at the resort.

Cons: Without deals, these are likely some of the more expensive places to stay.
Off-Site Hotels

How long should an Epic Universe vacation be?
An Epic Universe vacation should be 2 days if you want to see everything the park has to offer, or just 1 day if you only care about the highlights.
Another popular option is to extend your trip for a full Universal Orlando vacation. Spending 5-6 days gives you enough time to explore all of the parks, and possibly some of the other parts of Orlando.
How do I determine the right time for my Epic Universe vacation?
There isn't one "best" time to visit Epic Universe, as it depends on your priorities. Regarding time of year, you'll want to consider high volume areas, special events, and available promotions.
Lower-demand periods often have fewer crowds and better deals, but holidays can draw people back in. Higher-demand periods are the reverse: More crowds and higher prices, but more special events and typically easier scheduling.
Different days of the week also offer different advantages and disadvantages. Sundays are generally the least crowded days, while Mondays tend to have the longest wait times – this is highly variable, though, and can be subject to the particulars of any given day.
Does the Epic Universe theme park allow you to bring in food?
External food and drinks are not generally permitted under Universal's official food policy. But there are a few instances where food and/or drink is permitted: Park policy allows you to bring in up to 2 liters of bottled water, and a small amount of food in specific circumstances (for example, carbohydrates for a diabetic).
Coolers also face restrictions: Only a soft-sided cooler smaller than 8.5"x6"x6" is allowed. You can bring an empty, refillable water bottle, though.
Is there free water available?
Yes! Epic Universe makes it easy to stay hydrated during your time in the park. If you remember your water bottle, there are several water refill stations scattered throughout the park.
Water is also available for free if you don't have a water bottle – just ask at any of the restaurants.
Can I wear a backpack in Epic Universe?
You can bring a bag or backpack to Epic Universe. It will have to go through security and needs to pass an inspection before entry.
Keep safety in mind, though – you'll have to store your backpack in a locker before going on some of the rides. These lockers use photo validation technology to provide a seamless locker experience.
Is Epic Universe cash-free?
Epic Universe is not a cash-free park. Universal has started experimenting with a cashless park in Volcano Bay, but this has yet to apply to Epic Universe.
That said, there are arguably some disadvantages to using cash at Epic Universe, namely the food orders often take longer. The app makes it convenient to order your food early without waiting in line.
How early should you arrive at Epic Universe?
To avoid the lines as much as possible, try to be at the gates 30 minutes early. Most days, that means arriving at 9:30 AM, or 8:30 AM if you have early admission (the exact time can vary depending on the season).
When planning your schedule, don't forget to account for travel time and getting through security.
