After a lifetime of dieting, I was still seeking the right fit for me. I was very intrigued by the guidelines of the ketogenic way of eating. My mind was made up, this is the right way for me! The basic guidelines of this way of eating are high fats, moderate proteins, and low carbohydrates. I was concerned if I could integrate my way of eating into our trips to Walt Disney World. I quickly realized dining locations throughout the property would be more than accommodating and allow me to follow my way of eating with ease! I avoid many […]

Vacationing as a family should be memorable, exciting, and fun! But what if you’re traveling with a baby or toddler? Will your family be able to enjoy activities together? If you are headed to Disneyland, the answer is YES! As a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations, one of the most common questions I’m asked is if there will be rides and attractions in which the entire family can take part– especially if there is a baby or toddler in tow. We live in a world where phones have become an accessory we always have with us, like our wallet or sunglasses. In Disney, phones are an integral part of your trip because you use it for candid photos, videos, navigating the park, and updating plans using the My Disney Experience app. As stated before, we HIGHLY recommend you bring a portable phone charger or purchase a Fuel Rod in the park or resorts. There is another option …find a ‘charging location’ in the park. This will require you to sit and relax (as to not leave your phone unattended), but […]

As I have mentioned in previous entries, my oldest son, is living with Fragile X Syndrome. A genetic condition that causes intellectual disability, behavioral and learning challenges. Even my “typically” developing children have struggled with some behavioral challenges while visiting Walt Disney World. Although the parks are amazing, there are so many amazing dining options throughout the property. Character and/or themed dining is often as exciting as visiting the parks! Character dining offers an opportunity to have a meet and greet with characters without the long lines, nor the pressure of someone waiting in line behind you! In many locations, […]

Heading to Disney and on a budget? Not a problem. I’ve got a few tips and tricks this month that will help your dollar stretch a little farther so you can splurge on the Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Ears you’ve been eyeing. 1. Plus, it never hurts leaving […]
