Learn all about The World of Avatar! Alpha Centauri Expeditions {ACE} has made it possible for humans to explore Pandora. Unique expeditions and breathtaking views are around every corner in the Valley of Mo'ara on Pandroa. Pandora features floating mountains, gentle waterfalls, bioluminescent rainforest and amazing, flying creatures known as Banshees or "Ikran" by the Na'vi. Stepping into the land of Mo'ara, guests are immediately transformed by the beauty of the flora that surrounds them. The plant life is diverse in both color and size, as well as in purpose. For example, Vein Pods act as sponges and help maintain stability in the environment. Puffball Trees are important plants on Pandora for detoxifying the atmosphere. Panopyra resemble Earth's jellyfish and captures water and minerals from the dew and fog. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with different elements in nature as well. For example, when you rub a native plant, the Flaska Reclinata, it releases its spores […]

Looking for something sweet while at Epcot? Caramel Confections at the Karamell-Küche" Nestled inside the quaint village-like setting of Germany at Epcot's World Showcase is one of my favorite treasures...Karamell-Küche {Caramel Kitchen}. This charming confectionary is a "must-do" on every trip to EPCOT. The rich smell of Carmel entices you in as you walk by the front door. Guests are immediately greeted with the smell of the fresh caramel popcorn that is being made in the store. Don't be afraid of the line. It will move fast and the wait is definitely worth it!!! At quick glance, many will see the caramel popcorn identified as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. While I highly recommend this use of your snack credit, don't think you are limited to just the savory hot caramel popcorn. As you wait your turn, you will get a glimmer of the delicious, heavenly treats that are […]

If you are looking for something literally “off the beaten path” on your next Walt Disney World vacation, your search is over! The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is perfect for the younger crowd and is the perfect place for memory making! Being a local Floridian people think that we go to Disney every day. I’m sure that if it was up to my daughter we would! However, in reality, and for the sake of the Magical experience becoming commonplace, we treat every trip like a mini vacation. We stumbled upon the Tri-Circle-D Ranch on one of our many “staycations”. My family of five found Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to be perfect. Our cabin was a great fit for all five of us. Our cabin had a full kitchen and an eating area both inside and outside. It had it all, from the rustic […]

No Disney Fan’s adventures would be complete without a trip to Walt’s boyhood home of Marceline, MO! Nestled about an hour and a half north of Columbia, MO, this quaint town exudes charm and Disney History around every corner! Take the Disney tour of Marceline - the Walt Disney Hometown Museum containing personal letters, photos, and other Disney artifacts - guided by volunteers who met and housed Walt himself on his numerous visits “back home”. You can then visit the Disney Family Farm and the Disney Barn...as well as see (what’s left of) Walt’s Dreaming Tree - where it’s said that Walt dreamed of being a cartoonist.
