We all love the amazing entrees, snacks and treats found at Disney parks across the the globe. Most of us know of the many great options at Walt Disney World but to me it all goes back to the original in Anaheim. Here are some of the most delicious, delectable and divine Disney dishes one can find. So let’s get started!

#5. Monte Cristo Sandwich

Take some ham, turkey and Swiss cheese between two slices of bread then deep fry the thing and dust in powdered sugar and don’t forget the berry dipping sauce then you have the world-famous Monte Cristo. Yeah, that’s right it’s a deep-fried sandwich. This mammoth mountain of food is found at Cafe Orleans or Blue Bayou Restaurant in New Orleans Square. After tackling the sandwich I’m pretty sure you won’t be riding Space Mountain anytime soon. Your food induced coma will have you riding the Disneyland Railroad over and over again while you sleep it off!

#4. Matterhorn Macaroon

It’s a new creation and it’s amazing! A large coconut macaroon topped with white chocolate and dusted with candy to look like snow - umm yeah, I’ll take seven please. It’s a mini version of the famous ride and guess what you can eat it! Stop at the Jolly Holiday Bakery to pick up yours NOW!

#3. Clam Chowder

Back to New Orleans Square for a hearty bowl of great creamy clam chowder and of course it’s served in a sourdough bread bowl! This was the dish that made me fall in love with the soup. The bread that it sits in is absolutely amazing too! You can’t wrong. So stop by the Royal Street Veranda and grab a bowl!

#2. Mickey Beignets

Yes, we are in New Orleans Square again for this one. If you haven’t ever had a beignet, you are missing out on life. Yeah they are that good and Disneyland’s are no exception. It’s like a fried doughnut but better! Dusted in powdered sugar and served with two dipping sauces it’s a definite hit! These delights are found at Cafe Orleans.

#1 Corn Dogs

My all-time favorite Disneyland treat that I would drive across the country for is a corn dog. You might think I’m crazy for saying that, but these are the most incredible corn dogs on earth. (ok maybe that is a little too much but they are awesome!) These quite large hand-dipped corn dogs are a meal. They start out a little sweet then once you get the hot dog a little savory. They are perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft once you bite in. They are found at one of my favorite looking stops too - the Little Red Wagon off of Main Street. You can also pick one up at Stage Door Cafe and Corn Dog Castle in California Adventure.

Now get off the couch, call your Me and The Mouse Travel Specialist and head to Disneyland! Your food paradise awaits!
