“Disney is just for kids” …at least that is what “they,” say. Ask any adult Disney lover and they will tell you, you’re wrong for so many reasons! Over the past few years, Disney World has changed to appeal even more to the adult crowd. With the offering of alcoholic drinks in the last few years at select restaurants, it has many guests giving a sigh and big “thank you”. Having only been available in one park in the past, the recent introduction of these adult drinks has been welcome for guests looking for additional options with their meal. Think a Disney Cruise is just for families traveling with kids? Think again! Your Me and The Mouse Team recently took a team trip aboard the Disney Dream and it’s not just for kids anymore! Let me start this by saying, I am not a cruise person and therefore, I haven’t been on many in the past few years. My main reasons for not liking cruises include being afraid that the boat is going to leave me at the port since I am, admittedly, not the timeliest individual (my poor husband), the crowds of people on board, and the presumably low-quality food. Who said a Disney Cruise was only for kids?? Surely, not your travel specialist at Me and The Mouse Travel! A Disney Cruise is fun for all ages and the adult entertainment on any Disney Cruise is exciting, entertaining, and just what you need to unwind at night! So, send the kiddos to the Oceaneer’s Club for the evening then over to the Nightclub and Lounge district on your ship after 9 pm.
