Virgin Voyages launched their first cruise ship in the US in October 2021 and they have set the bar high for adult only cruising experiences. Virgin is different than other cruise lines for a variety of reasons. For me, it is a very laid-back environment that gives you the feel of sailing on a yacht vs a cruise ship. Again, it is adult only for anyone 18+, which provides a wonderful opportunity to reconnect.

Dining and Lounges
• The dining experience is beyond the typical cruise line with 10 different eateries all included. Menus have been created by Michelin star-rated chefs for experiences ranging from experimental at the Test Kitchen to more relaxed at The Wave.
• There are no buffets.
• There are bars and lounges located throughout the ship. Some are small and quiet whereas others are a great gathering place for a pre/post-dinner drink with friends. As an extra benefit, prepay your $300 bar tab and get an additional $50 on Virgin
What makes Virgin unique:
• The Galley is a food hall, but not a buffet with a variety of main courses dishes, sides, and desserts. It’s a great location to grab breakfast. It’s close by the pool, so you can run in and grab a bite throughout the day and head back out to the sun and have fun.
• Interested in a bottle of champagne, just shake the app on your phone and it will be delivered to you and charged to your bar tab
• If you are inclined, a tattoo parlor is also available onboard
• Rock Star suites have access to a private lounge for pre-dinner drinks, early booking for dining and shore excursion reservations, and select beverages in your bar in the stateroom (options vary by level of your Rock Star suite)

• Scarlet Lady – Homeports are Miami and San Juan with sailings that include a stop at Bimini and Virgins private resort
• Valiant Lady – She will summer in the Mediterranean and Winter in the Caribbean
