On all voyages, a select number of ‘Splash of Romance’ (SOR) packages are available to add-on to your voyage! This is a $350 value, for only $200. It’s an amazing deal, and one we will likely add on to our next voyage too.
Here are all this amazing package has to offer:
- Priority check in and boarding. Not quite Rock Star, but not ‘regular’ either. Quick, separate, and ready to sail!
- Exclusive wristband - used to identify you for those special perks on board!
We arrived about 20 min earlier than our assigned ‘check in time’. It was no issue. Signage allowed us to verify our status at the appropriate location, and they ushered us straight to check in. From here, we were given expedited screening, entry with Rock Stars, and onto the ship within 30 min from check in!
- Daily curated cold-pressed juice at Gym & Tonic bar each morning. These would normally cost, as they are not part of “basic bevvies.”
- A 3-hour Thermal Spa Pass per sailor. Take advantage of the sauna, steam room, salt room, mud room, cold plunge, hot tub, salt pool, and heated marble slabs.
The 3-hour Thermal Spa Pass was worth every moment of luxury. We checked in with the spa upon boarding to see when we could visit. They assigned us a day and gave us a window of time we could utilize our pass, but in reality, your SOR wristband let you in at any time if you needed to change your window. I’ve never slept on a heated marble slab in my life, but that was the best 2.5-hour nap I’ve ever had!
- Exclusive Sail Away Event - ours was postponed due to weather conditions, but we still had sparkling sips at a special event!
- Aphrodisiac bites! Fun treats left in your stateroom. We loved the surprises, and they were delicious!
- Shake of Champagne! Only available on board, and anytime before 2am on your last night of your cruise.
We utilized Shake for Champagne after our Bimini day. Simply open your Virgin Voyages app, and ‘Shake for Champagne’! A menu will appear for you to select your bottle of Moet. Bluetooth must be enabled on your phone so they can find where to deliver - in a fun red bucket with two glasses. We celebrated our anniversary with champagne and sweets!
**You may be charged for this service, but it will be refunded. This is noted on your in-room letter. Want to cancel? No worries, you have the chance to ‘change my mind’ after ordering, just in case you shook or hit buttons you weren’t supposed to!**
