If you are looking for a delicious steak while vacationing at Walt Disney World, please be sure to head north to the Canadian Pavilion for a visit to Le Cellier Steakhouse located in the World Showcase at Epcot. Lunch and dinner are served in this quaint wine cellar modeled after a Canadian chateau-style hotel. My experience when dining here is you will be able to sit back, relax and feel pampered by your server. I have always found my servers to be polite, friendly and ready to make dining here an experience to remember for me and my family. The […]

Innovation and change are a constant throughout Walt Disney World. The Edison, recently opened at Disney Springs is the bee’s knees! It is surrounded by 3 others recently opened venues as well. Each with their own unique offerings, but the focus of this review is the largest of the group! A larger-than-life clock tower greeted us as we entered the dining area. There was so much to take in as we were seated. Even the uniforms of the cast members were reminiscent of a 1920’s Speakeasy! We were greeted quickly once we sat down, and our server pointed out interesting […]

Continuing the success of the Marvel films (and my personal favorite), Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! is a fantastic thrill ride that has been re-imagined in the former Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction. The Guardians of the Galaxy have been kidnapped and it’s up to you to save them! Enter the fortress of Taneleer Tivan (otherwise known as the Collector) where he is currently exhibiting some of his finest pieces. Take some time to explore the cases and discover amazing relics – a warlock’s eye, Atlantis artifacts, Loki’s shackles, Figment (from Epcot’s Journey’s Into Imagination with Figment), […]

Visiting Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort is the perfect destination for a relaxing vacation. But on the days you want a little more than just relaxing by the pool or on the beach, there are plenty of scheduled activities happening around the resort, but venturing off the property is a fun addition to a great trip. Savannah, GA - Taking a drive to Savannah, Georgia is a fabulous full day activity. We opted to do the Hop On Hop Off Trolley tour through Old Town Trolley Tours. It was a great way to get around the city. The drivers gave […]

On a recent visit to the Magic Kingdom, we encountered the Main Street Philharmonic. I will be honest, we have seen countless parades that include them and have often seen them playing along Main Stweet USA, but this was the first time we stopped to enjoy their performance. In fact, we were trying to head to Tomorrowland for our expiring Fastpass. The kids were very engaged listening and watching them perform. They quickly sat down and asked to stay for their performance. We almost even missed our Fastpass, but no one seemed to mind. The Main Street Philharmonic is a […]

Walt Disney World is a very magical and the happiest place on earth. Everyone is happy and eager to help. There is a hidden gem of a restaurant that things just aren’t what they appear. The restaurant is Whispering Canyon Café located in Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort. Walking up to the podium, you’re surrounded by headdresses of past Native American chiefs and other relics from past times. The restaurant’s theme has the same motif. It’s an Old Western eatery that has bottomless platters and chuck wagon favorites will please the whole gang. Breakfast starts with an all you care to […]

Tucked away in the World Showcase at EPCOT, guest can enjoy authentic Italian cooking at one of my favorite restaurants… Via Napoli! This family-friendly restaurant and pizzeria is not to be missed on your next visit to EPCOT. Family style the Italian way is felt with the large table that stretches all across the whole width of the dining room. Via Napoli is a warm, welcoming restaurant where guests can enjoy a culinary tour of Southern Italy with authentic Italian cooking, including hearty pastas, fresh salads and thin-crust pizzas that are perfected in a wood-burning ovens named after the 3 […]

If you enjoy the hospitality that Disney offers but want something different and a little more relaxing than visiting a Disney park, our family discovered a hidden Disney gem. Last month, we had the pleasure of staying at Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort. The resort sits in two areas of the island. The actual resort is located in-land adjacent to the Shelter Cove Marina and The Beach House is about 1 ½ miles away on the ocean. The Beach House is where your family can enjoy a day at the beach, an additional pool and a quick service dining location. […]
