Woody's Lunchbox is the newest Quick Service restaurant located in the new Toy Story Land. Woody’s Lunch Box features classic American food, old-fashioned soda floats and other Toy Story-themed specialties (try the Mystic Portal Punch). Woody’s Lunch Box participates in the Disney Dining Plan as a counter service credit and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you are a breakfast fan and are looking for a unique dining experience, I recommend trying the breakfast buffet at Boma - Flavors of Africa. Boma is located at Animal Kingdom Lodge at Jambo House. It is a family-friendly themed Disney dining experience. I have enjoyed the Boma dinner experience for years when visiting Walt Disney World. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to enjoy the Boma breakfast experience while attending a travel agent training at Walt Disney World with my fellow agent, Tressa Krippel. Artist Point, located in Disney Wilderness Lodge, is a favorite signature dining restaurant in Walt Disney World. They recently made a change (in December 2018), to a character experience known as Storybook Dining! This new family favorite restaurant will not only delight your taste buds but will also excite the kid in all of us with a unique character experience! Upon arrival, a brief ‘story’ is told of who will visit you during your dinner experience as well as the proper way to address The Queen! Gaston. According to his song, he’s everyone's favorite guy. But better than the man himself is Gaston’s Tavern and it has become one of my favorite Magic Kingdom snacking hideouts since its opening. Gaston’s Tavern is located in Fantasyland in the square centered by Gaston’s statue. It offers snacks as well as light meal options which is perfect when you aren’t hungry enough for a complete quick service meal but want something a little bit more than a light snack. Walking into the restaurant you will first encounter a warm pub atmosphere with wood paneling and barrels filled with LeFou’s Brew. Cozy tables line the far wall where guests make themselves at home. When visiting Walt Disney World, there are so many incredible unique experiences available. Golf, Mini-golf, fishing excursions, parasailing, and bike rental to name a few. This blog entry will discuss a fun recreational activity that as many as 6 guests can enjoy together! A Surrey Bike is a multi-person bike that can accommodate 2-4 adults and even has an adorable basket in the front to accommodate up to 2 small children. Each bike also has a bell under the cover and you will frequently see the younger children laugh as they vigorously ring the bell! If you LOVE Magic Kingdom and plan to spend a lot of your time there, Disney's Contemporary Resort may be the perfect place to call "home" on your next Disney vacation. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is one of the original Disney resorts that opened in 1971 along with Magic Kingdom and is located on the Resort Monorail system. The monorail runs directly through this resort and makes a stop inside to load and unload passengers. In fact, it is so close to Magic Kingdom you can actually walk to the park. This allows you to spend more of your vacation time at Magic Kingdom versus waiting for transportation to take you there. Disney Club Level rooms are available “exclusively” at Deluxe Disney Resorts. The following resorts offer the opportunity to stay in a Club Level room, those include Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’sWilderness Lodge, and Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. When staying in a room on Club Level, you will be pampered with additional amenities that you would not have access to when staying in a regular room. Many of the Club Level rooms are located to offer guests amazing views. Lounges also tend to have awesome views. My family loved the Club Level lounge at the Contemporary Resort.
