On May 27, 2017 (The opening day for Pandora) lines for the rides were 250+ minutes. Thankfully, we are Walt Disney World Annual Pass Holders. We had the opportunity to sign up for an EXCLUSIVE Pass Holder Preview that took place a week before the land opened to the public. WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. The “land” is like none other at Walt Disney World. As soon as you step in, you feel as if you are on another planet or 4.4 light years away. We were able to explore the “planet” and ride both The Flight of Avatar and The Na’vi River Journey without a wait. You will be entertained on your way to the ride. As the line queues themselves are full of incredible sites. The Flight of Avatar begins with a process in which an “Avatar” is made for each rider. This will link you to a “Banshee” […]

Learn all about The World of Avatar! Alpha Centauri Expeditions {ACE} has made it possible for humans to explore Pandora. Unique expeditions and breathtaking views are around every corner in the Valley of Mo'ara on Pandroa. Pandora features floating mountains, gentle waterfalls, bioluminescent rainforest and amazing, flying creatures known as Banshees or "Ikran" by the Na'vi. Stepping into the land of Mo'ara, guests are immediately transformed by the beauty of the flora that surrounds them. The plant life is diverse in both color and size, as well as in purpose. For example, Vein Pods act as sponges and help maintain stability in the environment. Puffball Trees are important plants on Pandora for detoxifying the atmosphere. Panopyra resemble Earth's jellyfish and captures water and minerals from the dew and fog. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with different elements in nature as well. For example, when you rub a native plant, the Flaska Reclinata, it releases its spores […]

Quick Service Dining at Pandora - The World of AVATAR The Satuli Canteen is the Quick Service Dining location in Pandora: The World of Avatar. It has a unique menu of healthy dishes to satisfy all travelers exploring the Valley of Mo'ara on Pandora. Situated between the Flight of Passage and the Na'vi River Journey, this former RDA (Resource Development Administration) mess hall is now a peaceful resting spot adorned with the art of the Na'vi and supplying travelers with all the comforts of home. Travelers will find cuisine inspired by their journey through the Valley of Mo'ara. Satuli Canteen is considered a fast-casual restaurant on the Quick Service Dining Plan. Our meals were served off a china bowls, reminiscent of flora of the natural habitat. Guests will find silverware to dine with, as well as indoor and outdoor seating. Self-serve drink stations are also available. Since I do not have an adventuresome palette, I was hesitant that I would find […]

Looking for something sweet while at Epcot? Caramel Confections at the Karamell-Küche" Nestled inside the quaint village-like setting of Germany at Epcot's World Showcase is one of my favorite treasures...Karamell-Küche {Caramel Kitchen}. This charming confectionary is a "must-do" on every trip to EPCOT. The rich smell of Carmel entices you in as you walk by the front door. Guests are immediately greeted with the smell of the fresh caramel popcorn that is being made in the store. Don't be afraid of the line. It will move fast and the wait is definitely worth it!!! At quick glance, many will see the caramel popcorn identified as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan. While I highly recommend this use of your snack credit, don't think you are limited to just the savory hot caramel popcorn. As you wait your turn, you will get a glimmer of the delicious, heavenly treats that are […]

An Authentic German Experience {& Perfect for the WHOLE Family!} One of my family’s top Disney dining picks is the Biergarten Restaurant. In our opinion, it’s one of Disney’s best kept dining secret. It’s tucked away in Germany within the World Showcase at Epcot. We found the podium outside of the restaurant, but we had no clue what fun was behind the front doors! My family happened to discover it on accident. During one of our Disney vacations, we decided that we wanted to try a new restaurant. This is easy to do as there are so many options at Disney World. However, when you’re a party of 12 wanting to eat dinner somewhere within the next 3 hours, this can complicate things. One of the only places that could accommodate us was Biergarten. Taking a chance, we all agreed to try this restaurant. It turned out to be the best decision […]

If you are looking for something literally “off the beaten path” on your next Walt Disney World vacation, your search is over! The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is perfect for the younger crowd and is the perfect place for memory making! Being a local Floridian people think that we go to Disney every day. I’m sure that if it was up to my daughter we would! However, in reality, and for the sake of the Magical experience becoming commonplace, we treat every trip like a mini vacation. We stumbled upon the Tri-Circle-D Ranch on one of our many “staycations”. My family of five found Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to be perfect. Our cabin was a great fit for all five of us. Our cabin had a full kitchen and an eating area both inside and outside. It had it all, from the rustic […]

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located at Epcot's Norway Pavillion. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet with Disney Royalty on your next Walt Disney World vacation. Join the Disney Princesses for Storybook Dining inside a medieval castle setting in heart of Norway. When you arrive, guests are immediately greeted by Belle in her gorgeous yellow ballgown. Don't worry, a Photopass photographer is present! This means you will have a fantastic photo on your Memory Maker photo account. You will be able to enjoy later and send out to family and friends. After your visit with Belle, guests are are seated in one of two rooms reminiscent of great hall inside a storybook castle. You will find all this and more at The Ganachery, located in The Landing at Disney Springs. This fancy chocolatier has a wide variety of sweet in which to indulge. Samples are often given of fillings to entice passersby...much like I was with an amazing peanut butter filling. The display case was filled with the fanciest squares of chocolates I had ever seen. We chose 6 chocolates to sample: 2 peanut butter chocolate, 1 mint, 1 raspberry, and 2 salted caramels. We then took our delights into Jock Lindsey’s Hangar bar to enjoy with a cocktail. It was a refreshingly wise choice! Our chocolatier boxed our chocolates in delicate wrapping, within a designer box, which was then wrapped in special Valentine ‘end’. Expertly crafted chocolates and presentation. Unboxing our chocolates was almost as fun as eating them! The loveliest part was discovering an inspirational quote on the back of The […]

Disney’s Port Orleans – Riverside Resort is a moderate level resort with the feel of a deluxe. Once you step foot onto the property, you immediately get the impression you are in a Louisiana port city with southern mansions. The setting is peaceful and convenient. The parks are a short ride via Disney bus service with bus stops located throughout the resort. This makes transportation easy and near the guest rooms. You are also conveniently located to Disney Springs, which can be accessed via boat. It is a wonderful way to end the day with a peaceful boat ride to and from a nice dinner at Disney Springs. The rooms are well appointed and I found they were very quiet. Even with 2 queen size beds, there was ample room and very comfortable. Exploring the property is a must-do while staying at Port Orleans. You can take a stroll is […]
