Disneyland, once again, went above and beyond expectations when on June 4, 2021, Disneyland’s California Adventure opened the Avengers Campus. This is Disney’s newest land and it is a MUST visit vacation for all Marvel fans.

Headlining Avengers Campus is the all-new ride “WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure”. This family-friendly ride invites people of all ages to help gather up the rogue Spider-Bots that are continuously replicating and causing havoc in Avengers Campus. Each ride vehicle accommodates four people on each side to cast their webs and for those that are more competitive, the different colored Spider-Bots have different points associated with them so you’ll want to cast your webs for those worth more points.

Be aware that this ride is extremely tiring on your arms, so practice casting your webs even before your trip (as fast as you can), to build up those muscles as strong as Spider-Man. WEB SLINGERS can be experienced by either waiting in a traditional standby queue or through an Individual Lightning Lane entry, purchased through the Disneyland app.

Not to be forgotten, Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission – BREAKOUT! has been incorporated into Avengers Campus and is the second ride you can find in that section of the park. Help Rocket rescue his fellow Guardians from the fortress as you experience multiple free falls while listening to the best soundtrack in the galaxy. Requiring all guests to be 40” or taller, this ride is a great option for a Genie+ selection as the standby queue times are always long.

After you’ve experienced the rides, it’s time to eat! Pym Test Kitchen’s evolutionary shrink-and-grow technology of Pym Particles allows your whole party to experience the biggest and smallest of meals you’ve ever had. Groups of 6-8 can share a Family-sized Pym-ini while smaller groups might want to share the Quantum Pretzel. Youngsters will enjoy the Mini Pasta and Impossible Meatballs and those looking for something more healthy, might enjoy the Caesar Salad and Colossal Crouton. Another not-to-be-missed item on the menu is the Not So Little Chicken Sandwich with a massive breaded chicken breast between a tiny hamburger bun. Are you looking for a snack instead of a meal? Pym’s Tasting Lab features unique alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. Shawarma Palace offers chicken and vegetarian offerings and Terran Treats offers sweet treats for that mid-day pick-me-up.

Looking for Avenger-themed shows? Check out the Tip Board in the Disneyland app to find out when you can watch The Amazing Spider-Man soar through the sky and climb buildings, Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts where you will help protect the ancient sanctum, and other pop-up shows featuring more of your Avenger heroes. Avengers can be found throughout the land for socially distanced photos. While looking around, also be sure to look up to see them throughout the day watching over the campus to keep you safe.

Looking for more photo opportunities? The graffiti wall near WEB SLINGERS, the Orb of Cagliostro, and the optical illusion floor are just a few of the many places you’ll want to post yourself on social media. Avengers Campus is just one of the many reasons you’ll want to make Disneyland Resort your next vacation destination.
