In February 2026, I had the opportunity to take part in one of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration events! A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort! ~~ You can see all that Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration has to offer in Nancy’s blog here: Limited Time Magic~~ It was truly an unforgettable experience to walk in Walt’s footsteps, learn of original plans, dreams, ideas…what better way to celebrate 70 years of magic! We first began at the Tour booth next to Guest Relations in Town Square. We met with our tour guide who supplied us with radio earpieces to hear her stories, fun facts, and bits of Walt’s wisdom as we traveled through the park. We walked in Walt’s footsteps. Traveled to the lands he built. Stood where he stood. Learned more of his vision and desire to always move forward, with an eye on the past. And […]

Vacationing as a family should be memorable, exciting, and fun! But what if you’re traveling with a baby or toddler? Will your family be able to enjoy activities together? If you are headed to Disneyland, the answer is YES! This post is a rewrite of the original Enjoying Disneyland with Babies and Toddlers published in June 2018. As a travel agent who specializes in Disney vacations, one of the most common questions I’m asked is if there will be rides and attractions in which the entire family can take part — especially if there is a baby in tow. Thankfully, if you’re headed to Disneyland, you’re headed to the right place. So many attractions at the Disneyland parks have no height requirements — meaning that even the youngest members of your family can participate in the same rides and attractions as the rest of the family. On my baby’s first […]

The Disneyland Resort has so much to see and do throughout the year, and Southern California weather is always ready to welcome you! Whether you want to escape the cold temps at home, want to experience Disneyland's Food & Wine Festival, are looking for fun seasonal treats and attractions, or simply want to enjoy all the classic attractions of the parks after the big crowds have gone home, there is a season for you! When Royal Caribbean named their private island Perfect Day at CocoCay, they weren’t exaggerating — especially if you’re lucky enough to spend it in one of their Overwater Cabanas at the Coco Beach Club. Our multigenerational family, ranging in age from 16 to over 70, decided to splurge on one of these luxurious cabanas for our group's big birthday celebration during our island day. And honestly? It was worth every penny. A Private Slice of Paradise The moment we stepped into the Coco Beach Club, we felt the difference. The atmosphere is calm, refined, and exclusive — like being part of a private resort within the island. Our attendant welcomed us with chilled towels and refreshments, then escorted us down a boardwalk that stretched over the sparkling turquoise water. Our Overwater Cabana was stunning — complete with loungers, overwater hammocks, and even a private slide straight into the ocean (a […]
