For many families, ending the day with Disney fireworks is a must-do experience. While most guests enjoy the nighttime spectaculars from inside the parks, one of Disney's Enchanting Extras offers a completely different perspective. A Disney Fireworks Cruise allows guests to enjoy the magic of Happily Ever After or Luminous: The Symphony of Us from the water, creating a unique and memorable way to end the day. One of Disney's Enchanting Extras Collection experiences is a private Fireworks Cruise. Available for both Magic Kingdom's Happily Ever After and EPCOT's Luminous: The Symphony of Us, these specialty cruises allow your group to watch the nighttime spectacular from the water aboard a private pontoon boat. Boats accommodate up to 10 guests and include a captain, assorted snacks and soft drinks, and synchronized audio from the fireworks show so you can fully enjoy the experience. Reservations can be made up to 60 days […]

There is SO much magic to experience both inside and outside of the theme parks! Whether you’re a first-time visitor wanting to soak in all the resort amenities or a seasoned Disney traveler looking for something new to add to your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation, I have the perfect “Magical Extra” for your itinerary. On a recent girls’ trip, I wanted to share a fun and unique experience with my friends—something beyond rides and shows. After an amazing character breakfast at Tusker House Restaurant and a few favorite attractions at Disney's Animal Kingdom, we hopped on the bus to Disney's Coronado Springs Resort for an afternoon filled with creativity, laughter, and memories at Disney’s Colors of Coronado experience. If you haven’t heard of Colors of Coronado, it’s a guided painting class offered at Coronado Springs Resort where guests can create Disney-inspired artwork in a relaxed and beautiful setting. […]

Italy has been one of my dream vacation destinations. The history, food, culture, and breathtaking scenery make it a place that captures your heart from the moment you arrive. This spring, I had the opportunity to experience Italy with Adventures by Disney on my second Adventures by Disney vacation. Once again, Disney reminded me why they are masters at creating unforgettable travel experiences. As a travel advisor, I spend my days helping others plan incredible vacations. I know firsthand how much time and effort goes into researching hotels, arranging transportation, booking tours, and coordinating all the moving pieces. What I love most about Adventures by Disney is that they handle every detail, allowing you to be in the moment and simply enjoy! Every Detail Is Handled Imagine arriving in Italy knowing every hotel, transfer, activity, and reservation has already been thoughtfully arranged. Your luggage is transferred between hotels. Tucked inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Garden View Lounge Tea Experience has officially returned, offering one of the most elegant and unique ways to enjoy a storybook moment at Walt Disney World. If your idea of Disney magic includes charm, detail, and a touch of luxury, this is an experience that feels like stepping into a fairytale! A Setting That Feels Like a Storybook From the moment you arrive, the Garden View Lounge feels like a bright, airy conservatory. Sunlight comes in through large windows that overlook the resort courtyard, soft florals fill the space, and every detail is thoughtfully designed. There’s a subtle inspiration drawn from Alice in Wonderland, woven into the experience in a way that feels whimsical - perfect for guests who want a quieter kind of magic. What the Experience Is Really Like This is not your typical Disney dining reservation. It’s intentionally […]

Our house is a Chicago Bears football household through and through so we had already planned a trip in January not thinking the Bears would still be alive and playing. Imagine our excitement when our already-planned January Disney trip just happened to line up with a playoff run. After years of waiting, the Bears went on an incredible winning streak and suddenly found themselves in the NFC Divisional Round against the Los Angeles Rams, right in the middle of our vacation. Of course, there was no question. We had to find the perfect place to watch! Tucked inside Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, Rix Sports Bar & Grill turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. We walked in without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to only wait about 15 minutes before grabbing seats at the bar. The place was buzzing with fellow Bears fans, instantly creating that […]

A trip to Central Florida does not have to begin and end at the theme parks. Some of the best family memories happen between the park days when everyone slows down just enough to discover a different side of Orlando. For families with young kids, tweens, and teens, adding one or two extra adventure days can bring balance to your vacation while giving everyone something new to talk about long after you get home. Here are some of our favorite family-friendly adventures outside the parks. Meet Real Florida Wildlife at Gatorland Gatorland is one of those classic Central Florida experiences kids never forget. Little ones love seeing the baby gators and bird aviary, while older kids and teens get a thrill from the zip line that soars over alligator habitats. It feels adventurous without the all-day commitment of a major park, making it a fantastic half-day option. Blast Off Into […]

In February 2026, I had the opportunity to take part in one of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration events! A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour at Disneyland Resort! ~~ You can see all that Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration has to offer in Nancy’s blog here: Limited Time Magic~~ It was truly an unforgettable experience to walk in Walt’s footsteps, learn of original plans, dreams, ideas…what better way to celebrate 70 years of magic! We first began at the Tour booth next to Guest Relations in Town Square. We met with our tour guide who supplied us with radio earpieces to hear her stories, fun facts, and bits of Walt’s wisdom as we traveled through the park. We walked in Walt’s footsteps. Traveled to the lands he built. Stood where he stood. Learned more of his vision and desire to always move forward, with an eye on the past. And […]
