  • A Universal Studios Orlando Experience

1/8/2021 • Blog, Reviews, Universal Studios • Visiting Universal Studios Orlando after 20 years feels like it's the first time ever experiencing it again! Everything I remembered has changed, and boy, have I been missing out! I would like to share with you about my recent “first” experience at Universal Studio’s Orlando destination. It was pretty incredible 20 years ago and now…it’s bigger, better, and more jaw-dropping than ever!! This was the first time I have ever stayed at Universal Studio Orlando Resorts. I decided to try out the 50-60 beach resort inspired Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I chose this resort because it says it all in its name…Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I love the beach and Cabana’s, so I selected this one! What’s a vacation without feeling some sand in between your toes? I loved coming back to this resort after a long day at the park. It felt like I was on the beach to […]

  • Disney Springs Aerophile: The View from Up High

5/10/2019 • Walt Disney World • Have you ever wanted to view Walt Disney World from another perspective? Picture yourself 400 feet above Disney Springs with 360 degrees views that include Spaceship Earth, Tower of Terror, and Magic Kingdom. Above, you are 210,000 cubic feet of helium, filling a hand-painted balloon that moves gently with the wind, and giving you 8 minutes of peace to take in 10 miles of gorgeous views. The Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight, is located in Disney Springs and is a perfect experience for guests on their arrival or departure day, or anytime when you are looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks. Once tickets are purchased and waivers are signed, you line up for your experience under the shade of several umbrellas until it is your turn to board. Family groups are called one by one and your family will have your […]

  • The Pandora Experience

6/13/2017 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • On May 27, 2017 (The opening day for Pandora) lines for the rides were 250+ minutes.  Thankfully, we are Walt Disney World Annual Pass Holders.  We had the opportunity to sign up for an EXCLUSIVE Pass Holder Preview that took place a week before the land opened to the public.  WHAT AN INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. The “land” is like none other at Walt Disney World. As soon as you step in, you feel as if you are on another planet or 4.4 light years away.   We were able to explore the “planet” and ride both The Flight of Avatar and The Na’vi River Journey without a wait.  You will be entertained on your way to the ride. As the line queues themselves are full of incredible sites.   The Flight of Avatar begins with a process in which an “Avatar” is made for each rider.  This will link you to a […]

  • Pick-A-Pearl

12/26/2016 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • Hidden in the Japan pavilion in Epcot is a secret treasure you must discover on your next Walt Disney World vacation. The Pick-A-Pearl adventure is part souvenir, part adventure, part learning all combined into one. As a person that loves to give unique Disney souvenirs to my daughter and nieces at our family reunions, I was excited to finally be able to experience this with five of my favorite girls in the world. While there are multiple Pick-A-Pearl locations at Walt Disney World, the most elaborate experience is in the Japanese pavilion gift shop located under the Teppan Edo and Toyko Dining restaurants. When you walk into the gift shop head to the area from which cheers, chants, and drumming are originating. The first thing you will need to do is pay for the experience which starts at $17 an oyster. With your receipt you will get a customer number […]

  • Cinderella’s Royal Table- Royal Dining at its Finest

10/31/2016 • Walt Disney World • Fit for royalty, Cinderella’s Royal Table is an exceptional dining experience for families, couples, and adults to enjoy during their Walt Disney World vacation. Upon checking in, you will be escorted to the Grand Hall to meet Cinderella herself. After your family meets her, explore the Grand Hall while you wait to be called to the dining room. Disney has added many magical touches including hiding the mice Jaq and Gus up high. When your family is called, proceed up the spiral staircase to the dining room where the children will be presented with their very own royal wands, swords, and wishing stars. Gothic details such as archways, stained glass windows, and more than 40 coats of arms will make you feel as if you have stepped back into the 1400s. During your meal, Cinderella’s princess friends will greet each table. Be sure to have your autograph books and cameras […]
