  • Yak & Yeti Table Service Restaurant

4/2/2024 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • One of the best tips for making the most of your time at Walt Disney World is to stay in the parks for your meals.  While there are many great table service selections in Epcot, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, there are only a handful available in Animal Kingdom.  With the new Pandora expansion, more and more guests are wanting to spend time in Animal Kingdom so a table service meal inside the park is usually the best way to have a meal break without wasting time traveling to another part of Walt Disney World. I'm introducing you to one of my favorite spots to grab a bite to eat - Yak & Yeti! Nestled in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom lies one of the most overlooked restaurants in all of Walt Disney World: The Yak & the Yeti. This restaurant is often overshadowed by Tusker House. However, this […]

  • Satuli Canteen Quick Service Dining in Pandora: The World of Avatar

3/27/2024 • Walt Disney World • Quick Service Dining at Pandora - The World of AVATAR The Satuli Canteen is the Quick Service Dining location in Pandora:  The World of Avatar.  It has a unique menu of healthy dishes to satisfy all travelers exploring the Valley of Mo'ara on Pandora. Situated between the Flight of Passage and the Na'vi River Journey,  this former RDA (Resource Development Administration) mess hall is now a peaceful resting spot adorned with the art of the Na'vi and supplying travelers with all the comforts of home.  Travelers will find cuisine inspired by their journey through the Valley of Mo'ara.  Satuli Canteen is considered a fast-casual restaurant on the Quick Service Dining Plan. Our meals were served off a china bowls, reminiscent of flora of the natural habitat.  Guests will find silverware to dine with, as well as indoor and outdoor seating.  Self-serve drink stations are also available. Since I do not have an adventuresome palette, I was hesitant that I would find […]

You'll love how the entertainers interact with the audience getting everyone engaged in the hand clapping, foot stomping, sing-along fun! Grab your cowboy boots and then kick back and relax! You'll enjoy a non-stop interactive Wild West performance which includes dancing, singing, and hilarious comedy. Your waiter will serve your meal family style while you and your family enjoy the show! The offerings are “finger-lickin' good" and include: all-you-care-to-eat smoked BBQ pork ribs, crispy fried chicken, mashed potatoes, baked beans, salad, seasonal vegetable, delicious cornbread, and amazing strawberry short cake for dessert.   Nonalcoholic beverages are included for the whole family! • Tri-Circle-D Ranch Family Fun at Disney’s Fort Wilderness!

1/30/2024 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • If you are looking for something literally “off the beaten path” on your next Walt Disney World vacation, your search is over! The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is perfect for the younger crowd and is the perfect place for memory making! Being a local Floridian people think that we go to Disney every day. I’m sure that if it was up to my daughter we would!  However, in reality, and for the sake of the Magical experience becoming commonplace, we treat every trip like a mini vacation.  We stumbled upon the Tri-Circle-D Ranch on one of our many “staycations”.  My family of five found Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to be perfect. Our cabin was a great fit for all five of us. Our cabin had a full kitchen and an eating area both inside and outside.  It had it all, from the rustic […]

  • Resort Spotlight: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

2/21/2017 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a one-of-kind destination at Walt Disney World.  Its views of exotic animals grazing on nearby savannas, guests will feel as if they have escaped on an authentic Safari adventure! This deluxe resort property is located near Animal Kingdom Park at Walt Disney World.  The African-inspired resort gives guests the opportunity to view grazing exotic wildlife outside their rooms and public areas within the resort. • ‘Ohana Restaurant – Review

11/21/2023 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • ‘Ohana Means “Family” and Families love ‘Ohana' One of my family’s favorite sit-down restaurants at Walt Disney World is ‘Ohana located on the second floor of the beautiful Polynesian Resort, which offers monorail service, with direct access to Magic Kingdom. Please note breakfast and dinner are offered and have a set price and menu. 'Ohana is extremely popular, and reservations are required. Breakfast at ‘Ohana with Lilo and Stitch is a great way to start your day!  Enjoy a relaxing breakfast served family style with all-you-care-to-eat offerings of island-style fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, Hawaiian pork sausage, smoked bacon, Mickey-shaped waffles and a variety of fresh fruit and breads.  Disney characters stop at your family’s table to visit, sign autographs and pose for pictures.  Each family gets to take advantage of some quality one-on-one time with their Disney friends.  Watch out for Stitch – he likes mischief! Hidden Disney Secret:  If […]
