‘Ohana Means “Family” and Families love ‘Ohana'

One of my family’s favorite sit-down restaurants at Walt Disney World is ‘Ohana located on the second floor of the beautiful Polynesian Resort, which offers monorail service, with direct access to Magic Kingdom. Please note breakfast and dinner are offered and have a set price and menu. 'Ohana is extremely popular, and reservations are required.

Breakfast at ‘Ohana with Lilo and Stitch is a great way to start your day!  Enjoy a relaxing breakfast served family style with all-you-care-to-eat offerings of island-style fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, Hawaiian pork sausage, smoked bacon, Mickey-shaped waffles and a variety of fresh fruit and breads.  Disney characters stop at your family’s table to visit, sign autographs and pose for pictures.  Each family gets to take advantage of some quality one-on-one time with their Disney friends.  Watch out for Stitch – he likes mischief!

Hidden Disney Secret:

If your children want to visit and mingle with their favorite Disney characters, character dining is for you! Instead of standing in long, hot lines at the parks, the Disney Characters come to visit your family while you dine. You will also have more time at the parks to enjoy the rides, shows, and parades.

Dinner & Dessert Dinner at ‘Ohana is a fabulous experience served family style with all-you-care-to-enjoy Hawaiian 'Ohana Restaurant offerings.  Your dinner is cooked on a massive fire pit in the center of the restaurant. The chefs prepare long skewers of meat and shrimp.

After you are seated, your server will bring out a loaf of delicious ‘Ohana pineapple coconut bread.  It is tempting to fill up on this bread, but pace yourself throughout this meal because your server will continue to bring out amazing food!

Additional offerings brought to your table including: A large plate of noodles tossed in a teriyaki sauce with fresh vegetables and honey-coriander chicken wings (which are amazing!).  Your servers will bring out the main course on long skewers. They will be filled with grilled chicken, oak-grilled steak, and shrimp.  For dessert, you will enjoy ‘Ohana Bread Pudding served a la mode with bananas, vanilla ice cream and Carmel Sauce.  My family looks forward to this dessert every trip.  It is over-the-top delicious.

Please note characters are not available during dinner. However, children have the opportunity to participate in activities such coconut races and hula hoop games. You will be given a traditional lei and experience live Hawaiian music to immerse you into the authentic Hawaiian culture. Family participation is part of the unique entertainment experience with activities such as learning to hula, celebrating special family occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries with a Hawaiian flair.

Make Your Meal Even More Magical!

Maximize your dining experience by making your reservation about an hour before the fireworks at Magic Kingdom or anytime during the fireworks display. Request a window table during check-in for your dinner reservation.  Large windows, spanning from floor to ceiling, provide spectacular views of the fireworks while dining. Magic Kingdom directly pipes in music to the restaurant.  This is the perfect place to relax and avoid the crowds at the park.

Menu items are current but are subject to change without notice.

Tell your Me and The Mouse agent if you'd like to add 'Ohana to your family's dining plan!
