‘Ohana Means “Family” and Families love ‘Ohana One of my family’s favorite sit-down restaurants at Walt Disney World is ‘Ohana located on the second floor of the beautiful Polynesian Resort, which offers monorail service, with direct access to Magic Kingdom. Please note breakfast and dinner are offered and have a set price and menu. 'Ohana is extremely popular and reservations are required. Breakfast Breakfast at ‘Ohana with Lilo and Stitch is a great way to start your day! Enjoy a relaxing breakfast served family style with all-you-care-to-eat offerings of island-style fried potatoes, scrambled eggs, Hawaiian pork sausage, smoked bacon, Mickey-shaped waffles and a variety of fresh fruit and breads. Disney characters stop at your family’s table to visit, sign autographs and pose for pictures. Each family gets to take advantage of some quality one-on-one time with their Disney friends. Watch out for Stitch – he likes mischief! Hidden Disney Secret: […]

My husband and I had the privilege of having a weekend at Disney, WITHOUT our children!!! {GASP!!!} We attended Disney’s Early Morning Magic at the Magic Kingdom. This is a limited entry, early access event. It takes place from 7:45am-10am on select mornings, with only select attractions open in Fantasyland and an all you can eat breakfast at Pinocchio Village Haus. Please keep in mind, regular theme park admission is required in addition to your reservation for this event. Check-In My husband and I arrived approximately 20 minutes prior to the start. We were allowed in to the park at 7:45am, sharp. We checked in and were given a wristband and a sticker for the event! It was an opportunity to enjoy a leisurely stroll down Main Street, taking in the wonder of this beautiful park. There were several photographers along Main Street and in front of Cinderella’s Castle. Rides, Rides, […]

Are you wanting the luxury of a deluxe resort without the price tag? A great solution maybe staying Business Class at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. My family stayed in this hidden gem in June of 2015. First of all, I love the location of Coronado Springs. You can see the Tower of Terror from the property along with the statues that decorate the peaks of the Swan and Dolphin Resort. It is considered to be in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area. Therefore, it is a fairly short bus ride to Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom. It can be a bit of a haul to get to the Magic Kingdom. Disney’s Coronado Springs itself is themed in Mexican/American Southwest. There is a great swimming area with a Mezo-American pyramid, water slide, baby pool, bar and fire pit. The resort itself is visually stunning! The staff may have been the best […]
