12 EPCOT Photo Locations You Need to Visit!

EPCOT is full of amazing locations to capture fantastic memories for your family photo album or your social media accounts. While some are easy to identify, like Spaceship Earth, there are many hidden gems throughout the park that make spectacular backdrops for your vacation photos.   Checkout these 12 photo spots on your next visit to Epcot!

1.  Spaceship Earth -

The icon of this park, Spaceship Earth can be seen and photographed in various locations in the park due to its size (It's 180 feet tall!!).  With themed garden beds as you enter the park, this always makes this location a "must do" on any visit to Epcot.  Plan to get pictures both during the day and night as it twinkles and changes colors at night.

2.  Bubble Gum Wall (#bubblegumwall) - This location continues to be a trend for park goers and their photos!  This colorful wall is made up of bubble gum pink, baby blue, and hot pink and makes a fun, whimsical background for your social media post.  You will find this popular wall located at the exit of Spaceship Earth.

3.  Dreamer's Point -

"Walt the Dreamer" statue is located in the World Celebration Gardens.  You can sit next to Walt as he is dreaming about the future and the additional possibilities for Walt Disney World.  This recent new addition is the perfect Disney photo memory!

4.  Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana -   This gorgeous addition to the Epcot offers several photo opportunities with lush landscaping and water features, but the most remarkable photo moment happens when you come upon the large figure of Te Fiti.  Your little Moana fans will be mesmerized and you won't be able to get enough photos of this location.

TRAVEL TIP:  Visit this area again at night!  The lighting features here give this attraction an entirely different look in the evening. You won't be disappointed!

5.  The entrance to The Seas with Nemo & Friends at EPCOT  -

Outside this pavilion, you will find an adorable photo spot with the attraction sign and seagulls.  Around the side of the pavilion, towards the entrance to Coral Reef Restaurant, is another favorite photo spot for Instagram users - a blue wall with wave patterns (#toothpastewall).  On the sidewalk heading towards The Land pavilion you will find another Pixar-favorite photo spot with Nemo, Dory and Friends.

6. English Garden in the United Kingdom pavilion - The United Kingdom pavilion features quaint gardens, cottages and buildings in various architectural styles in the large courtyard in the back of this pavilion area.  You will even find iconic red telephone booths here too!  My favorite spot for photos is the quaint English Garden that is full of color flowers and framed by quaint English cottages.

7.  Bouquinistes in the France pavilion-

Near the walking bridge connecting France to the United Kingdom, you will find a display of postcards, art and maps within the green metal boxes (known as bouquinistes).  This fun photo spot also features suitcases, an old-fashioned camera, an artist's palette and more to use as props or backdrops in a fun Parisian-themed photo.   The France pavilion offers lots of unique photo opportunities, so don't rush your visit here.

TRAVEL TIP:  Don't miss the picturesque view with Paris in the background as you cross over the 2nd bridge between France and the United Kingdom!

8.  A replica of the Nejjarine Fountain in the Morocco pavilion -

One of the most stunning photo locations is in the Morocco pavilion with its tiled fountains and gorgeous archways.  Every angle highlights the attention to detail used in this World Showcase country.  Towards the back of the pavilion, near restaurant Marrakesh, is a replica of the Nejjarine Fountain - another beautiful backdrop for your photos!

9.  The Torii Gate in the Japan pavilion -

The Torii Gate with Spaceship Earth centered in the backdrop always makes a stunning photo!  Don't miss the winding garden paths behind the pagoda, as well as the bamboo bridge, small waterfall and koi pond for photo opportunities here.

10.  The Neptune Fountain at the Italy pavilion -

The Italy pavilion is another expansive area with lots of picturesque photo opportunities.  Styled after St. Mark’s Square in Venice, this area is filled with wide courtyards, decorated columns, and unique archways.  You will feel as if you are in the heart of Italy.  The Neptune Fountain, along with the garden walls and flowers are a gorgeous backdrop for a photo in the Italy pavilion.

11.  The Wishing Well in the Germany pavilion -

The Wishing Well is a great place for a unique photo in Germany. This area is located to the left of Karamell-Kuche and is an official character spot for Snow White. If you prefer to have your picture alone, you may need to wait until Snow White takes a break "to check on the 7 Dwarves".

12.   Gate of the Golden Sun in the China pavilion -

The China pavilion showcases replicas of China's architecture, including the Gate of the Golden Sun and Temple of Heaven.  Here you will also find stunning gardens, water features and more.  Don't miss visiting inside the Temple of Heaven to view the meticulous details put into the ceiling artwork.

TRAVEL TIP:  If you are entering EPCOT from the International Gateway early in the morning, take advantage of getting some fantastic photos with minimal crowds in the background.  Most guests in the World Showcase will be heading towards the Norway pavilion (for Frozen Ever After) or to France (for Remy's Ratatouille Adventure), so this is a perfect time to take individual and group photos.
