My favorite Disneyland Resort hotel is the newly renovated Pixar Place Hotel. Located just outside of the Downtown Disney District, Pixar Place Hotel has so much to offer!
Rooms
Newly renovated rooms are beautifully themed in the Pixar animation style! You’ll notice subtle nods to some of your favorite characters from your favorite Pixar movies from the moment you step inside. Inside each room you’ll notice a mural of some classic Pixar pals, and don’t forget to take a look at the decorative pillow on your couch for a fun nod to the original “Pixar Ball” that we all remember! The standard room can sleep up to five adults, making it a great option for families! When booking your room, ask about a “Premium View” where you can see the back of Disney’s California Adventure Park and have a stellar view of “World of Color”!
Amenities
Pixar Place Hotel has many on-site amenities to make your stay more enjoyable! Whether you’re looking to get in a workout in the fitness center, take a fitness class, play shuffleboard in the “Pixar Shorts Court,” or take a dip in the third-floor pool, there is plenty for everyone to enjoy! And don’t forget the laundry room where you can wash your clothes before your trek home, saving time and frustration on the back end of your trip! There is also “Store-E”- a souvenir and sundries shop for all those last-minute necessities! My favorite perk of staying at Pixar Place Hotel is the third-floor pool deck where you can enjoy the Disneyland fireworks on select nights if you’re a registered guest!

Fortunately, Pixar Place Hotel has several dining options to satisfy your hunger even after you’ve left the parks! “Great Maple Modern American Eatery” located on the first floor of Pixar Place Hotel is a stylish and modern American sit-down restaurant that offers brunch, lunch, and dinner daily. If you’re in a hurry and need a little caffeination in the morning, visit “The Sketch Pad Café” for some grab and go food options, but also some specialty coffees, teas, and espressos! And if you want a quick service option, swing (or swim) on by “Small Bytes” on the pool deck! This quick service restaurant has several options for families, such as burgers, wraps, salads, and more! If you’re looking for even more dining options, the central location of Pixar Place Hotel makes it easy to enjoy dining at The Disneyland Hotel, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, The Downtown Disney District, and the parks!

For all on-site hotel guests, you can enjoy 30-minute early entry to one park per day before the normal park opening! Depending on the day, either Disneyland Park or Disney’s California Adventure Park will be open for your enjoyment!
