A Shimmering Soiree
One evening during each cruise, guests will be invited to join their ship’s captain and cruise director in the atrium for an anniversary toast. The festive gala will feature appearances from Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie dressed in shimmering new attire while experiencing the enchanting “Silver Anniversary at Sea” signature theme song. A perfect event for a photo op!
Character Encounters with New Style
Time to shimmer and celebrate with your favorite characters in newly styled outfits that feature swirling designs of ocean waves and multi-toned fabric. We encourage guests to shine with the characters on this sailing and create a shimmering celebration ensemble.
Silver Anniversary Fireworks at Sea
Disney Cruise Line made history in 1998 as the first cruise line to produce a fireworks show at sea. A shimmering new fireworks display will premiere on select “Silver Anniversary at Sea” sailings to mark 25 years at sea. The dazzling spectacular will be set to iconic Disney tunes, featuring the new “Silver Anniversary at Sea” signature song.
Culinary Creations
Prepare your taste buds to experience limited-time desserts, cocktails, and savory culinary delights inspired by the Silver Anniversary celebration. If you love fun drinks, look no further. Come aboard for delicious alcoholic and non-alcoholic signature drinks with unique anniversary garnishes and colors.
New Merchandise
Disney Cruise Line will release the Shimmering Seas Collection for this special anniversary celebration, which includes apparel, accessories, drinkware, keepsakes, and more, reflecting the shimmering turquoise waters and pearls available for guests to take home the memories of this special occasion to enjoy long after the sailing has ended. Keep an eye out for a special anniversary popcorn bucket too!
New Tier for Repeat Cruisers
Disney’s Castaway Club has a new tier coming! Guests who have sailed with Disney Cruise Line 25 times or more will become Pearl Castaway Club Members after May 2023 and receive a unique special Castaway Club gift to commemorate this milestone.
