Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park

A day at the beach usually doesn’t involve a blizzard, unless you are at Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park!  If you are looking for a fun way to keep cool in the hot Florida sun, add this to your itinerary! You will find special incredible summer activities, character meet and greet opportunities, and even Photopass photographers are available!

Throughout the park you will enjoy a winter wonderland that has melted to provide endless fun for the whole family.  Guests less than 48 inches have their own tike size water slides and play area. For guests looking to relax, there are white sand beaches and lounge chairs located throughout the park.   The Cross Country Creek (aka lazy river) surrounds the park with many entry/exit areas. Melt Away Bay offers gentle waves and is located in the center of the park. If you are a thrill seeker, Runoff Rapids, Slusher Gusher, Teamboat Springs, and Toboggan Racers are filled with drops and turns.  There is even a chairlift to take you to the top of Mount Gushmore, where you will find Summit Plummet and Teamboat Springs at the peak. If you are looking for an EXTREME experience, Summit Plummet is for you! You will plunge 12 stories in a near vertical drop!!!! It is one of the worlds tallest and fastest free fall body slides!

What do you need to bring with you?   Your bathing suit, (see dress code policy ), your magic band, and sunscreen of course!!  You can rent lockers to store your valuables for the day! Towels are available for rent for non-resort guests, but are complimentary for resort guests.  Life jackets are readily available throughout the park and are FREE to use. Transportation is available to and from the resorts.

There are many dining and beverage locations throughout the park to help keep you cool, including a family sized sundae served in a bucket!  Polar patios are shaded decks that are available for rent. Your Me and The Mouse agent can assist you in making arrangements to reserve your patio ahead of time (subject to availability). The Polar patio accommodates up to 6 guests and includes: lounge chairs, a locker, refillable drink mugs, and a cooler stocked with ice and bottled water.  There are Attendants readily available to take your food order (separate dining charges do apply). Your Disney Dining Plan can be used while here as well, you simply need your magic band!

Ticket prices begin at $59 (age 3-9) $65 (age 10 and up)  per person for a one day admission. However, you can upgrade your park tickets to a park hopper plus!  This upgrade is only $25 per person when you have already selected a park hopper ticket. The park hopper plus includes admission to Disney’s Blizzard Beach and Typhoon lagoon, plus more.  The number of visits  are based on the number of ticket days purchased. Tickets and options must be used within 14 days of first use. All tickets and options are nontransferable and exclude activities/events separately priced.
