  • Dinner with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare

7/2/2019 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • My favorite part of any Disney vacation is seeing my children experience the magic and wonder of the Disney parks. Part of that magic is meeting their characters! Having two young daughters- they are both excited to see each and every princess, but Cinderella is their current favorite! How perfect that we can see Cinderella, Prince Charming, the stepmother and the stepsisters all in one place- 1900 Park Fare in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort! Located just minutes from Magic Kingdom park- the Grand Floridian is my all-time favorite resort. Nestled on the first floor you will find 1900 Park Fare with a nightly dinner buffet featuring your favorite characters from the classic movie Cinderella. Upon arrival you will take a picture in front of the beautiful mural just outside the restaurant; this photo is included with your Memory Maker if you have chosen to add that to your resort package! • Birds, a Dog, and Ducks…Oh My!

5/9/2018 • Walt Disney World • BIG CHANGES have been happening at Disney World…(in case you haven’t heard).  From the long-anticipated Toy Story Land coming to Hollywood Studios at the end of June 2018, to room renovations at their ever-popular themed resorts, and gondola systems being constructed as an added form of transportation…the changes seem endless. Disney never fails to keep finding ways to strike the interest of its fans with new and exciting big projects!   Last year in Animal Kingdom, the large addition was Pandora – The World of Avatar.  While the momentum of that land has not seemed to waiver after months of being open, Disney likes to add some smaller changes to the parks as well to keep with its evolution.  Making smaller additions to the parks keeps the interest of the Disney fans so they always have something NEW to look forward to on their next trip. Even with a major opening […]

  • Bon Voyage Breakfast- Trattoria al Forno- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn

8/1/2017 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • A relatively new experience, the Bon Voyage Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno is a lovely alternative for  character meals.  Meet two of the most adventurous princesses out there – Ariel and Rapunzel! Accompanied by Prince Eric and Flynn Ryder {Eugene for those that know him well}, no less!  Introduced by royal decree – each couple comes to visit tables and bring adventure to every family!  Sometimes, Ariel may ask you to swim with her like her favorite fishy friends in a conga line! This restaurant boasts a charming, dark-wood, tile-floor, open kitchen concept everyone is sure to love. The dining room is more intimate, and ordering off menu versus a buffet is a wonderful change of pace!  Every menu item is inspired by The Little Mermaid or Tangled.   Before you start your adventure, each table has a “Bon Voyage Adventure Journal” to fill out. In it, your family will […]

It is so much fun to get your picture, but you also get to experience their personality in real life {the characters do some pretty entertaining things!}. Take a look at my favorite spots to meet the Mouse himself!   5 Favorite Spots to Meet Mickey Mouse:   Magic Kingdom – located on Main Street USA in the Town Square Theater Meet Talking Mickey dressed as a magician at this location.  It is so fun interacting with your “favorite” mouse. • Dining with Disney Royalty at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall

4/18/2017 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located at Epcot's Norway Pavillion. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet with Disney Royalty on your next Walt Disney World vacation.   Join the Disney Princesses for Storybook Dining inside a medieval castle setting in heart of Norway.  When you arrive, guests are immediately greeted by Belle in her gorgeous yellow ballgown.  Don't worry, a Photopass photographer is present! This means you will have a fantastic photo on your Memory Maker photo account. You will be able to enjoy later and send out to family and friends.   After your visit with Belle, guests are are seated in one of two rooms reminiscent of great hall inside a storybook castle.  On my most recent visit, our waiter Paal explained the menu and made suggestions from the menu.  At lunch and dinner, every Guest’s royal feast begins with a “Taste of Norway”. This features Scandinavian seafood, […]

  • Chip and Dale’s Harvest Feast at the Garden Grill is a “MUST” for Dining at Epcot!

9/22/2014 • Walt Disney World • When my family started planning our recent August vacation to Walt Disney World, there was one place that I knew we would need to book.  While everyone has a favorite restaurant and character meal, The Garden Grill in Epcot’s Land Pavillion is always at the top of their list.  We have enjoyed dinner here on our last three visits to the parks. What makes this restaurant so special?  EVERYTHING!!!  The Garden Grill is located in Future World of Epcot.  The restaurant slowly rotates as you enjoy your meal and interact with Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale.  By the time you have finished your meal, you have made one full revolution within the scenes of the Living with The Land attraction.  (**You will want to make sure that you enjoy this attraction that travels through the greenhouses before dinner.  Your kids will be amazed to see how they are growing […]
