Giddy up, partner! There’s a new restaurant in town! Roundup Rodeo BBQ just opened a few months ago in Toy Story Land at the back of Hollywood Studios Park. There has been such a need for a table service restaurant in this area of the park since Toy Story land opened and we are happy to stay we really enjoyed it!

Situated just past the entrance of Toy Story Land, guests walk up to a larger than life “playset” restaurant designed my Andy himself. We were greeted by a “welcome Brodnicki playset of two” and promptly seated next to a huge Bo-Peep and sheep. The design and theme of this restaurant, similar to the Toy Story Mania queue, truly submerses guests into the Toy Story movies.

Like the name would suggest, Round Up Rodeo serves a variety of smoked barbecue meats all family style. It is A LOT of food! Menu items include “There’s a Sausage in My Boot,” “Evil Doctor Smoked Ribs,” and “Buttercup’s Beef Brisket” as well as barbecued chicken and even a smoked salmon. While the salmon does not appear on the menu, it can be requested. Guests start with a trio of salads, can choose four of eight available sides and select one of the delicious Mason Jar-style desserts. Cost for this meal is $45 per adult and $25 per child (ages 3-9).

All in all, we thought the food was good, but maybe not exceptional. Our standout items were the ribs, fried pickles and Bo’s Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake, but if you are coming to Disney for the fully themed experience, Roundup Rodeo really delivered to the nostalgic Toy Story fan. We would definitely come back!
