As the ultimate destination for Disney enthusiasts, Disneyland Paris offers a magical and unforgettable experience that perfectly complements the cultural wonders of the French capital. I just had the pleasure of visiting Disneyland Paris on my most recent European vacation and am going to share my top 5 reasons to include a visit to Disneyland Paris.
Magical Disney Experience: Disneyland Paris offers a unique and enchanting Disney experience that captures the essence of the beloved brand. From classic attractions like Sleeping Beauty Castle or Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, to immersive lands like Fantasyland and Adventureland, the park is filled with the magic and wonder that Disney lovers crave. Disneyland Paris offers attractions that are unique to just their parks; they also offer creative spins to classic attractions such as Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain Railroad (which was one of our favorites), and The Haunted Mansion.
The Shows and Fireworks: Disneyland Paris offers the most magical and immersive Disney nighttime shows. With spectacular entertainment, synchronized music, and dazzling visuals including drones that dance in the sky, these performances transport guests into the enchanting world of Disney that left my Disney loving family in awe. It’s also worth noting how much we loved The Lion King and the Rhythms of the Earth. The show again was Disney entertainment at its finest. The music, lighting, dancing, and performers were impeccable and totally different from what you will experience at Walt Disney World in Florida.
International Flavors: In addition to classic Disney fare, Disneyland Paris embraces its location in France by incorporating local flavors into its culinary offerings. You'll find French delicacies like croissants, crepes, and escargots, as well as other international cuisines such as Italian, American, and Asian-inspired dishes. This fusion of flavors adds an extra dimension to the dining experience at Disneyland Paris.
Location: The location is just a short distance from the heart of Paris, Disneyland Paris offers a convenient and accessible destination for Disney enthusiasts. Situated approximately 32 kilometers (20 miles) east of the city center, the theme parks are easily reachable by various transportation options. Visitors can take advantage of the efficient and extensive public transportation system, such as the RER trains, which provide direct access to the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy station located right at the entrance of Disneyland Paris. Additionally, shuttle buses operate regularly, offering a hassle-free transfer from Paris to the theme parks. For those preferring a more personalized experience, taxis and rideshare services are readily available, ensuring a comfortable and direct journey. With its close proximity to Paris and a range of transportation options, including trains, buses, taxis, and rideshares, Disneyland Paris is easily accessible, allowing visitors to seamlessly incorporate a magical Disney adventure into their Paris itinerary. For those wishing to incorporate a bit more of a Disneyland Paris experience into their stay, there are beautiful Disney resorts including one that acts as the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. Looking back we would’ve stayed on property. We would’ve done our visit a day or 2 before flying home and stayed our last night at Disneyland Paris as it is very close to the airport.

This pass allows visitors to enjoy expedited access to 14 select attractions and shows, minimizing wait times and maximizing the fun. With the Disney Premier Access pass, guests can skip the regular standby queues and enjoy dedicated entrances, saving valuable time during their visit. The pass is available for purchase and can be accessed through the official Disneyland Paris mobile app, making it convenient and easy to use. By utilizing the Disney Premier Access we were able to experience each of the 14 attractions making the most of our time at the park, experiencing more attractions and creating unforgettable memories without the inconvenience of long lines. The ease of the Disneyland Premier Pass just added to the enjoyment of our stay, and I highly recommend including it on your visit!
