One thing that we have learned over the past few months is that everyone loves joining a sing-along. It doesn’t matter your age nor your singing ability, the chance to join your voice with the lyrics of some of your favorite tunes resonates with all of us.
The new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along is located at the back of France in Epcot. This is another treasure that Disney has in the World Showcase that you won’t want to miss. Located indoors, it has the added benefits of the perfect place to cool off in the heat, warm up in the winter cold, relax your feet in comfortable seating, and a darker room for kids that need to slow down a bit and reenergize.
You will want to enter the building well before the start of a show so that you can enjoy the memorabilia of French classic stories that line the walls. Items that will catch your fancy include the Phantom’s mask from Phantom of the Opera, a Gargoyle from Hunchback of Notre Dame, Cinderella’s Scullery Dress, and of course many pieces from Beauty and the Beast. There are so many details that adults especially will appreciate and it’s a great teachable moment to share those details with the younger ones with whom you are visiting.
The sing-along is located in the Palais du Cinema theater with plenty of seating and great views no matter where you sit. Here you’ll enjoy a 15-minute version of the original animated movie, carrying you through quickly through the scenes, and highlighting portions of your favorite tunes that you are encouraged to sing along with. Sing loud and sing proud along with Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Potts and the rest of the cast.
