One of the things I love most about Disney Cruise Line is how every space tells a story — and the Disney Destiny takes that to the next level. From stylish villain vibes to mystical Marvel touches and classic pirate fun, the lounges onboard give guests plenty of ways to relax and enjoy the ship between adventures. Here’s a quick look at three lounges you won’t want to miss.
De Vil’s Piano Lounge –
Chic, Dramatic, and Just a Little Wicked
Inspired by Cruella de Vil, this piano lounge is all about bold style and personality. Located near the Grand Hall, De Vil’s features a sleek black-and-white design with pops of red and a statement piano that anchors the space. Live music brings the lounge to life in the evenings, making it a great spot to stop for a cocktail before or after dinner.
As the night goes on, De Vil’s becomes a popular adults-focused venue with an elegant but playful atmosphere — perfect for guests who enjoy a stylish night out with a Disney twist.
Travel-advisor tip: This is a great lounge for couples or adults sailing without kids who want something fun but not overly loud.

The Sanctum –
A Relaxing Escape with Marvel Flair
Marvel fans will appreciate The Sanctum, inspired by Doctor Strange and the mystical side of the Marvel universe. The space feels calm and immersive, with subtle magical details and a comfortable layout that works well any time of day.
Families may stop by during the afternoon for a quiet break, while evenings bring specialty cocktails and live music in a more refined setting. It’s a great option if you’re looking for a lounge that feels unique without being overwhelming.
Travel-advisor tip: This is a nice “in-between” lounge — great for guests who want atmosphere without a party vibe.

Cast & Cannon –
Pirate Pub Fun for All
For something more casual, Cast & Cannon offers a pirate-themed pub inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean. The décor feels like a well-loved seaside tavern, filled with nautical details and hidden surprises that Disney does so well.
This is a social, laid-back space where guests can enjoy rum-based drinks, specialty beers, and casual entertainment. It’s an easy place to relax, meet other cruisers, or unwind after a day ashore. My favorite drink “experience” is the "treasure chest"… it’s called the Dead Man's Chest, a rum cocktail with pineapple, lime, agave, and coconut, served in a smoky chest!
Travel-advisor tip: This lounge is popular with multi-gen families and groups looking for something fun and easygoing.

One of the biggest advantages of cruising on the Disney Destiny is the variety of onboard experiences — and these lounges are a big part of that. Each one offers a completely different vibe, which means there’s truly something for every guest, whether you prefer glamorous, relaxed, or playful.
As always, choosing the right ship (and stateroom!) can make a huge difference in your overall experience. If you’re curious whether the Disney Destiny is a good fit for your family or travel style, contact Me and The Mouse for more information!
