Flying on the back of a banshee is an important rite of passage for the Na'vi, and now visitors of Pandora: The World of Avatar have a chance to experience the thrill of this journey at Disney's newest attraction, Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom Park. Deep in the heart of the Valley of Mo’ara, visitors can now climb atop a mountain banshee for a breathtaking, first-person flight over the moon’s amazing landscape, explore the bioluminescent forests, and soar by the Na'vi living among the moon's beautiful flora. This attraction will immerse your all your senses as you feel the breath of your banshee beneath you, smell the aroma of the foliage of the rainforest and feel the crisp, cool feel of the waters of Mo'ara. The journey begins in the queue as guests begin an uphill trek towards the mountains floating above the valley. You will pass over a land bridge, travel near waterfalls and pass […]

“The perfect spot to view the Magic Kingdom Fireworks”... is a very subjective opinion. For those who have seen Wishes before, they might suggest to you, “Why not…”: Main Street by The Plaza Restaurant? The Hub? The Rose Garden? Tomorrowland Terrace? Main Street USA near the Train Station? Liberty Square bridge? These are all amazing spots...but I’m suggesting you take a different and more adventurous approach to your fireworks viewing experience! ***this is a suggestion for those who have seen the fireworks before, or don’t feel like grabbing a spot early to view them in their entirety*** First, check the times guide to see when the evening Fireworks will be offered the day you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom. “Wishes a Nighttime Spectacular” will be offered until May 11, 2017. Then, starting May 12, 2017, the new show “Happily Ever After” will debut! Second, arrange a Fast […]

Missing Fast Pass Attractions Due to Ride Closures Did you ever wonder what happens to your pre-selected FastPasses (FPs) in the event the ride is down or not running during your scheduled return time? There is no need to worry….Disney is on top of it. If you are scheduled for a FastPass through My Disney Experience (one of your 3 pre-selected FastPasses) and you arrive during your scheduled hour window, but the ride is down during that time, Disney will send an email notifying you. They will also put an “invisible” FastPass in your My Disney Experience. It is considered an “invisible” fastpass because it will not prevent you from getting another FP at the FP+ Kiosk once your original FP’s are used or their times are expired. For Example, assume this is your FP day: 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid […]

Taking a smaller child to Disney World who might not be able to ride the rides that you want to ride? Never fear, the legendary service of Disney has come to the rescue! Introducing “Rider Switch.” What is RS exactly and how does it work? RS is an option Disney offers to families with children below height limits for rides, which allows the family to wait in line only once when taking turns babysitting the vertically-challenged family member. Here’s how it works: the entire family gets in the standby line for a ride (unless you have Fastpasses for the ride, in which case you would get in the Fastpass line). Stop and talk to the first Cast Member you see working the ride and tell them you want to do the RS. The members of the family who want to ride first go ahead, and the person who stays behind […]
