My family enjoys Disney and the quality of service that is synonymous with the Disney name. So, when we travel, Disney is our go-to company. Because we love to travel and see the world, we hop on a Disney Cruise and explore. The port excursions offer a variety of options that are both family-friendly and also selections that are for adults only.

Disney Cruise Line has a variety of itineraries throughout Europe and they will be introducing new ports of call in 2023 and 2024 when they add Australia to one of their amazing destinations. My family always makes sure to add a couple of days to either the beginning or end of our sailing to truly experience one city more in-depth than just a port of call. We plan this in our own, but many of the embarkation/debarkation cities also have Adventures by Disney tour options that can be booked.

A few of our favorite European itineraries are the British Isles, the Mediterranean, and Norway. In my opinion, both the British Isles and the Mediterranean are tour intensive and are go, go, go from early morning to late afternoon and a lot of walking, which may make it challenging for little ones or individuals with mobility requirements.

British Isles - here we visited ports in England, Scotland, and 2 ports of call in Ireland. For this sailing, we spent a few days in prior in London to take in the popular sites throughout the city.

The Mediterranean 7 Night Cruise – our embarkation city was Barcelona where we spent 4 days prior to boarding, but we loved the opportunity to have ports of call that we took excursions to Monaco, Pompeii and Rome.

Norway – This was the most relaxing of our European adventures with very easy ports of call. For those that do not want to book excursions at every port, this is a perfect option. Each port of call has plenty to see right by the ship.
