Disneyland is known for being the original family theme park- for classic characters and attractions that we all know and love. Disneyland’s Pixar Fest is a new, in-park experience with some of the more recent characters you love in the most magical of settings- Disneyland Park and Disney’s California Adventure.
From now until August 4, you can catch your favorite Pixar characters at several specially themed events daily. In Disney’s California Adventure, make sure you catch the daily parade, “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” in Pixar Pier with Pixar-themed floats, songs, and characters. From UP, to Luca, to Inside Out- there you will see more than two dozen fun and rare characters to see in the parade each day! There’s just nothing like a Disney parade, and with this Pixar twist, it’s a parade like no other!
Disney California’s Adventure is also the place to be if you’ve brought your appetite to the park! During Pixar Fest you can find limited time treats, all themed around your favorite Pixar movies! There are six marketplaces located throughout the park that have special sweet and savory treats for every palate! Choose from the menus at Portorosso Pasta (Luca), Hanger Management (Inside Out), Gusteau’s To-Go (Ratatouille), The Spark (Soul), Elemental Table (Elemental), 4*TOWN FAV*4*ITES (Turning Red). Everything has a fun and flavorful Pixar twist! And while you’re out looking for something to sate your appetite, look at all of the parks’ dining locations for Pixar themed goodies and sweets scattered throughout the park!
Don’t forget to stay at Disney’s California Adventure in the evenings, because the fun doesn’t end when the sun comes down! At night, the Hollywood Backlot at Disney’s California Adventure. During the day, this area is a place for photo opportunities and face painting. At night, this area becomes “Club Pixar” with music, games, photo opportunities, and food and beverages- all with a special Pixar flair! And stick around for the amazing show “World of Color – ONE” as the new pre-show features the new characters from Inside Out 2!
Over at Disneyland Park, you will be treated to several Pixar offerings, including one-of-a-kind photo opportunities and dance parties with some of your favorite Pixar characters at the “Pixar Pals Playtime Party” at the Fantasyland Theater. Twice daily you can meet, dance, and play with characters from Inside Out, Encanto, and more!
And there’s no more magical way to end the evening than with fireworks! “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” at Disneyland Park puts a new spin on this beloved show! Look out for a flying Buzz Lightyear and a floating Mr. Frederickson from UP in this projection and fireworks show.
