Staying “on property” at Universal Orlando definitely has its perks, but what you might not expect is the high quality of their hotels. I had the pleasure of staying at Loews Royal Pacific during my last visit and had one of my most enjoyable hotel stays to date in Orlando. Loews Royal Pacific is a tropical, “South Pacific” themed resort just tenths of a mile away from the entrance of Islands of Adventure. While you are just walking distance away from Universal Studios, you feel a surprising sense of peace and relaxation in this gorgeous resort hotel. Room types include water view and garden view rooms available with one king bed or two queens at 335 square feet as well as suites, including the popular Jurassic Park kids’ suites. These rooms provide an incredibly comfortable night’s rest so you are refreshed and ready for Early Entry to the Wizarding World the […]

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall is located at Epcot's Norway Pavillion. It is a fantastic opportunity to meet and greet with Disney Royalty on your next Walt Disney World vacation. Join the Disney Princesses for Storybook Dining inside a medieval castle setting in heart of Norway. When you arrive, guests are immediately greeted by Belle in her gorgeous yellow ballgown. Don't worry, a Photopass photographer is present! This means you will have a fantastic photo on your Memory Maker photo account. You will be able to enjoy later and send out to family and friends. After your visit with Belle, guests are are seated in one of two rooms reminiscent of great hall inside a storybook castle. On my most recent visit, our waiter Paal explained the menu and made suggestions from the menu. At lunch and dinner, every Guest’s royal feast begins with a “Taste of Norway”. This features Scandinavian seafood, […]

Upon checking in, you will be escorted to the Grand Hall to meet Cinderella herself. After your family meets her, explore the Grand Hall while you wait to be called to the dining room. Disney has added many magical touches including hiding the mice Jaq and Gus up high. When your family is called, proceed up the spiral staircase to the dining room where the children will be presented with their very own royal wands, swords, and wishing stars. Gothic details such as archways, stained glass windows, and more than 40 coats of arms will make you feel as if you have stepped back into the 1400s. During your meal, Cinderella’s princess friends will greet each table. Be sure to have your autograph books and cameras […]
