  • Transportation to and From Port Canaveral

7/20/2021 • Cruises, Tips • Woohoo!! Your cruise is booked but now you are wondering how you’re going to get to Port Canaveral. No worries - we're here to help! It is highly recommended that you fly in at least one day prior to your cruise!  This may impact the means of transportation you chose. Here are a few options to consider. Disney Cruise Line Transportation Disney Cruise Line shuttles passengers from the airport (MCO) to the port. The cost of the ride is $35/person each way, however, it only runs the day of embarkation and debarkation. If you are flying in the night before and staying at a local hotel and are utilizing this option, I would suggest staying near the airport. The Hyatt Regency is located inside the airport and will be an easy elevator ride down to the bus. Otherwise, a hotel that provides shuttle service to and from the airport is […]

  • Avatar Flight of Passage

3/25/2024 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • Flying on the back of a banshee is an important rite of passage for the Na'vi, and now visitors of Pandora: The World of Avatar have a chance to experience the thrill of this journey at Disney's newest attraction, Avatar Flight of Passage at Animal Kingdom Park. Deep in the heart of the Valley of Mo’ara, visitors can now climb atop a mountain banshee for a breathtaking, first-person flight over the moon’s amazing landscape, explore the bioluminescent forests, and soar by the Na'vi living among the moon's beautiful flora.  This attraction will immerse your all your senses as you feel the breath of your banshee beneath you, smell the aroma of the foliage of the rainforest and feel the crisp, cool feel of the waters of Mo'ara. The journey begins in the queue as guests begin an uphill trek towards the mountains floating above the valley.  You will pass over a land bridge, travel near waterfalls and pass by […]

  • Tri-Circle-D Ranch Family Fun at Disney’s Fort Wilderness!

1/30/2024 • Reviews, Walt Disney World • If you are looking for something literally “off the beaten path” on your next Walt Disney World vacation, your search is over! The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is perfect for the younger crowd and is the perfect place for memory making! Being a local Floridian people think that we go to Disney every day. I’m sure that if it was up to my daughter we would!  However, in reality, and for the sake of the Magical experience becoming commonplace, we treat every trip like a mini vacation.  We stumbled upon the Tri-Circle-D Ranch on one of our many “staycations”.  My family of five found Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to be perfect. Our cabin was a great fit for all five of us. Our cabin had a full kitchen and an eating area both inside and outside.  It had it all, from the rustic […]

  • A Different Way to View WDW Fireworks

3/8/2024 • Tips, Walt Disney World • “The perfect spot to view the Magic Kingdom Fireworks”... is a very subjective opinion. For those who have seen Magic Kingdom Fireworks before, they might suggest to you, “Why not…”: Main Street by The Plaza Restaurant?  The Hub?  The Rose Garden? Tomorrowland Terrace? Main Street USA near the Train Station?  Liberty Square bridge?  These are all amazing spots...but I’m suggesting you take a different and more adventurous approach to your fireworks viewing experience!   ***this is a suggestion for those who have seen the fireworks before, or don’t feel like grabbing a spot early to view them in their entirety***   First, check your My Disney Experience app to see when the evening Fireworks will be offered the day you will be visiting the Magic Kingdom. Times may vary depending upon extended evening hours, special events, holidays, etc. Second, arrange a Lightning Lane for a time that overlaps evening fireworks […]
