The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is a special experience offered at Disney theme parks, specifically designed for young children who want to be transformed into princesses or knights through a magical makeover. The experience is inspired by the Fairy Godmother's spell from "Cinderella." At the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, young guests (ages 3-12) can choose from various packages that include different levels of pampering and transformation. These packages typically include hairstyling, makeup application, nail polish, and the option to select costumes resembling popular Disney princesses or characters. The experience is conducted by "Fairy Godmothers," and it provides kids with the opportunity to feel like they're stepping into their favorite fairy tales. During a visit to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, children are treated like royalty as they receive a complete makeover that could include but not limited to: 1. Hairstyling: Skilled "Fairy Godmothers" work their magic to create elegant hairstyles, complete with tiaras […]

I had the pleasure of sailing on the Disney Wonder with my family and one of our ports of call was Catalina Island and it turned out to be one of my favorite stops on our cruise! Catalina Island feels like a private wonderland. The island is full of quaint shops, happy tourists, fun restaurants, and endless beauty. There are no stop lights, everyone walks everywhere, and the crime is super low. Catalina is 22 miles off the coast of Southern California and is known for its beautiful wildlife, scuba diving, ziplining, and offers a charming coastal town feel. It’s full of interesting facts too. The island is owned by the chewing gum king, William Wrigley who also owned the Chicago Cubs. He brought spring training to the island for over thirty years. Catalina is also home to the oldest golf course in Southern California, Avalon. More than 4,000 people […]

They also offer a large selection of premade salads, wraps, and sandwiches that you can grab and go. The Boardwalk Deli is known for their famous warm pastrami Ruben and their New Jersey inspired crumb cake and they look delicious! Seating is outside overlooking the beautiful lake. The BoardWalk Deli serves guests from 6:30AM to 11PM. Reservations are not accepted. If you are staying at the Boardwalk Inn, Beach or Yacht Club, I highly recommend popping over for a tasty treat and enjoy the scenery!

La Creperie de Paris is a new crepe restaurant in Epcot at the France Pavilion. It offers both sit-down reservations and a quick-service walk-up option. The inside offers a warm, earth-toned atmosphere with large wooden beams on the ceiling and cozy booths and tables for guests. The table service side has a wide menu that includes soups, salads, hard ciders, and of course… sweet and savory crepes! They also offer a prix fixe menu option that includes a soup or salad, one galette (main course), a hard cider (or soda/juice), and one dessert crepe. The quick-service side is a walk-up option and does have a limited menu that includes three savory crepes and four sweet crepes. Guests can also order ice cream and drinks as well. Overall, I had a lovely experience. After a long day at the parks, it was such a nice treat to sit down to a […]

During my latest trip to Walt Disney World, I visited the Main Street Confectionery at Magic Kingdom. What a fun place to check out!!! The entire place has a whole new look and layout with lots of new sweet treats to try. I was so excited to try the new “build your own” candied popcorn that you can customize! The “Kernel Kitchen” has three different types of popcorn to choose from: butter, caramel, and cheddar. After you select your type of popcorn, you can choose your candy toppings (M&M’s, Skittles, Snickers, Twix, crunched cookies, marshmallows, pretzel pieces, and more!) To finish off your popcorn, you can select from three different types of syrups offered: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or caramel. Guests can get customized popcorn with two toppings and syrup for $12.99 or three toppings and syrup for $13.99. Each additional topping is $1.00 and all popcorn is eligible for […]

Walt Disney World is an amazing place for top notch cuisine. From five star restaurants to quick service dining, there is something that everyone will love. I have a long list of my favorite restaurants that I go back to every time when I am at Disney. One place in particular that I love is Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom. The one item that I always order is their famous Clam Chowder soup. It’s full of rich flavors and is milk based so it’s not so full of broth. It’s a hearty soup and perfect for lunch. It’s been a staple at Liberty Tree Traven for years and guests love it. Here’s a quick tip- if you don’t have time to eat at Liberty Tree for a long lunch, head over to Columbia Harbour House for a very similar style soup! Liberty Tree Tavern New England Clam Chowder Soup: […]

I had the pleasure of eating at San Angel Inn with my family on our recent trip to Walt Disney World. San Angel Inn, located in Epcot, is a Mexican restaurant modeled after the Mayan ruins. Inside the pyramid you will find the restaurant and also shops with specialty items including hand crafted merchandise and a fun water ride. Upon arrival, we were seated right next to the water so we could watch the riders pass by. The ambiance is absolutely adorable. The restaurant itself is fairly small and cozy. You feel as if you are inside a café at night as each table is lit by a latern. The food at San Angel Inn is amazing. I ordered the steak tacos which were full of flavor. My children selected the chicken fajitas, “kids style”. This restaurant offers a nice variety of options. They were very accommodating to special dietary requests. […]

California Grill is located at the top floor of the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. With floor to ceiling windows, it offers beautiful panoramic views of Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon. It also boasts a rooftop terrace to view the fireworks in the evening including music piped in from the Magic Kingdom! This past July, I ate at California Grill with my family. Upon arrival, we checked in on Floor 2 at the Contemporary Resort. We gave the hostess our cell number and received a text when our table was ready. Once our table was ready, we took a private elevator to the 15th floor. When we got off the elevator, we were immediately greeted by a hostess and seated at our table. The menu offered a wide variety of options. I ordered the oak fire fillet and my husband opted for the seabass. It was absolutely delicious […]
