During my time as a Cast Member at Walt Disney World, I had a role that allowed me to work in a different resort or park each day. It was great for many reasons, but I especially enjoyed my days at the resorts. I was able to become incredibly familiar with each resort and talk to the guests that visited and stayed at them. I can truly say I think they all have great features in their own way. However, there is one resort that I can say is my favorite: Animal Kingdom Lodge! The resort has many features that I absolutely love, but today, I will tell you three things that I separate it from any other resort on property. Here is why Animal Kingdom Lodge is the top of my list. Location Some people will say it’s far away from the other parks, and I respond to that with […]

At Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground If you are looking for something literally “off the beaten path” on your next Walt Disney World vacation, your search is over! The Tri-Circle-D Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground is perfect for the younger crowd and is the perfect place for memory making! Being a local Floridian people think that we go to Disney every day. I’m sure that if it was up to my daughter we would! However, in reality, and for the sake of the Magical experience becoming commonplace, we treat every trip like a mini vacation. We stumbled upon the Tri-Circle-D Ranch on one of our many “staycations”. My family of five found Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground to be perfect. Our cabin was a great fit for all five of us. Our cabin had a full kitchen and an eating area both inside and […]

Located in the Marketplace Town Center right in the Heart of Disney Springs (across from The Landing) hides this hidden gem! Sprinkles Cupcakes boasts a wide variety of sweet treats, including gourmet cupcakes, cookies, ice cream, shakes, and an assortment of specialty beverages. Sprinkles opened its doors at Disney Springs May 15, 2016 and continues to command a crowd of sweet seekers nightly. The hours of operation are 10am - 12am daily. During peak seasons, they have a queue out front for guests, so the line doesn't get out of control while they wait for their sweet treat. For patrons on the go, the Sprinkles at Disney Springs even has a Cupcake ATM! {I know, it sounds amazing!} It's restocked throughout the day and night. So you can purchase cupcakes and cookies 24 hours a day {again, this sounds like a dream!!}! Guests can enjoy their cupcakes out on the deck overlooking the Disney […]

I had the pleasure of eating at San Angel Inn with my family on our recent trip to Walt Disney World. San Angel Inn, located in Epcot, is a Mexican restaurant modeled after the Mayan ruins. Inside the pyramid you will find the restaurant and also shops with specialty items including hand crafted merchandise and a fun water ride. Upon arrival, we were seated right next to the water so we could watch the riders pass by. The ambiance is absolutely adorable. The restaurant itself is fairly small and cozy. You feel as if you are inside a café at night as each table is lit by a latern. The food at San Angel Inn is amazing. I ordered the steak tacos which were full of flavor. My children selected the chicken fajitas, “kids style”. This restaurant offers a nice variety of options. They were very accommodating to special dietary requests. […]
