When most people think of Disney they think of Mickey Mouse or Cinderella’s Castle but when I think of Disney, I think of the many culinary confections it has to offer. If your focus has been on attractions and characters, you may be surprised to find the cornucopia of delectable treats to satisfy any sweet tooth. Follow me as we embark on an adventure to explore some of the many options!

  1. All Star Sports

I, for one, love eating raw cookie dough even though it comes with some pretty hefty health risks. Luckily, All-Star Sports now has edible chocolate chip cookie dough! Bring a date to share this treat as it’s quite sweet.

  1. Beaches and Cream Soda Shop

You’ve seen the pictures of the mason jars overflowing with decadence, Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is the place to find them. They have a variety of shakes, both alcoholic and non, that look delicious. Flavors include Chocolate Brownie Milk Shake, Strawberry Minnie Milk Shake, which has a chocolate Minnie cupcake on top, and a Mickey Confetti Milk Shake with a rainbow confetti cupcake on top. They also have the Kitchen Sink which is a huge sundae that serves four!

  1. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in Epcot’s France Pavilion

Les Halles has a variety of delicious pastries, but the crowning gem is the chocolate mousse in my opinion. Don’t forget to stop by on your next trip around the world.

  1.  Be Our Guest

If you’re lucky enough to grab a reservation here, you can’t miss the strawberry cream cheese cupcake with vanilla sponge cake, mousse filling, cream cheese icing, or the triple chocolate cupcake which has chocolate sponge cake, chocolate mousse filling, and chocolate ganache.

  1.  Amorette’s Patisserie

Amorette’s Patisserie is another French Bakery, but this one is in Disney Springs. The cakes (and the sandwiches) are an incredible work of art! You can even sign up for a cake decorating class with a Disney pastry artist.

  1. Aloha Isle

Dole Whips are a Disney staple and as of late 2017, Dole Whip atop Pineapple Upside Down Cake also became a thing and a very scrumptious one that can’t be missed.

  1. Animal Kingdom Lodge

Zebra Domes are so delicious it’s almost hard to put it into words. These white chocolate domes are filled with a creamy Amarula Cream Liqueur mousse that entrances you into eating more. This is a MUST TRY when you hit up Animal Kingdom Lodge. We made a special trip just to try these and we’re so glad we did!

  1. Cape May Café

Oreo Bon-Bons. Oreos plus chocolate mousse…..enough said!

  1. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop

Ghirardelli will forever remain one of my favorite places to get an indulgent dark chocolate shake, sundae, or some amazing chocolate. My top pick here is the Painted Ladies Mint Bliss sundae, but blended into a shake. It contains mint chocolate chip and Ghirardelli chocolate ice cream with handmade dark chocolate hot fudge, whipped cream, and an Intense Dark 72% Twilight Chocolate piece blended in. Once you try it, you won’t be able to go back to Ghirardelli without getting one!

  1. Mickey Ears Ice Cream Bars

And coming in at number one is the classic chocolate Mickey Mouse Ice Cream Bar. While it’s changed a bit over the years, it still remains the perfect treat on a warm Florida afternoon in the parks!

Check out of these tasty desserts on your next visit!
