If your bucket list items include visiting Disney parks around the world, this is definitely the year to fit in a visit to Disneyland Paris! Disneyland Paris promises to be “spectacularly sparkly” as they celebrate their 25th anniversary which kicks off March 26, 2017.
In addition to the wonderful attractions and entertainment Disneyland Paris offers year-round, the celebration will add new sparkle to Disney Stars on Parade, the Disney Illuminations show, updates to Star Tours and Space Mountain, a new Fairytale Waltz with Disney Princesses, and much more!
Disneyland Paris can be easily reached by train or car and is about 45 minutes outside the heart of Paris. It features 2 main parks – Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios. There is also shopping, dining and entertainment at Disney Village.
Disneyland and Walt Disney Studios include many Disney park favorites, including Pirates of the Caribbean and Big Thunder Mountain as well as their own version of the Haunted Mansion, Phantom Manor. There are also several attractions that are unique to these parks starting with the dungeon and animatronic dragon beneath Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. Ratatouille: the Adventure is another unique attraction that makes Disneyland Paris special.
Character dining experiences and dinner shows are also a fun part of Disneyland Paris. In addition to dining with Mickey Mouse, princesses and other favorites, Mickey and friends also put on a hoop-hollering rodeo at Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show in the Disney Village.
The resort offers seven on-property hotels as well as eight Partner hotels. The shining star is the Disneyland Hotel which actually sits above the entrance into Disneyland Paris. This Victorian-inspired hotel boasts not only the perfect location but also the highest class and amenities available.
Disneyland Paris is also a fantastic place to celebrate the holidays! Special entertainment, dining experiences and parties are available on Halloween, Christmas and New Year’s.
This is such a great year to visit this park and experience the anniversary celebrations.
