The world of Disney is ever-changing, and 2020 will be no exception for the Walt Disney World Resort!
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge - Star Wars fans and even guests who thought they weren’t Star Wars fans are raving about this new 13-acre land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. From flying the Millenium Falcon, grabbing an intergalactic drink at Oga’s Cantina, or fighting alongside the rebels on Rise of the Resistance, this land has so much to see, do, and explore! Don’t forget to shop for special treats, try some out-of-this-world foods, and even build your own droid or lightsaber! You can also play along on Disney’s Play app to become even more immersed in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Disney After Hours Events - Disney has extended After Hour Events at the Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. After Hours events allow guests to explore the theme parks late at night after the general crowds have left the parks. Along with shorter waits for rides, you can also expect some yummy drinks and snacks, all included with your special admission event ticket. Disney After Hours events are offered on select nights.
Disney Villains After Hours - Disney Villains take over the Magic Kingdom Park on select nights starting February 7, 2020. The Villains Caravan will feature such favorites as Cruella de Ville, Gaston, Captain Hook, Gaston, and Oogie Boogie. Keep watch as Maleficent’s dragon is also known to roam the park.
Epcot International Festival of the Arts - Running from January 17 – February 24, 2020, this special festival at Epcot will delight all art lovers whether you are searching for signed special limited-edition art, live performances during the Broadway Concert Series, or more pop-up food booths that so many guests love.
Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along - This new sing-along adventure debuts in Epcot’s France Pavilion in January and will invite guests to sing along to their favorite Beauty and the Beast songs. Angela Lansbury provides the narration for this new show.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse debuts at Epcot’s American Adventure and will feature craft beers and barbecue meats such as Memphis dry-rub pork ribs and Texas beef brisket.
Journey to Space 220, one of the most highly anticipated restaurants coming to Epcot this year. Coming in Winter 2020, journey above the earth to a space station for a one-of-a-kind dining experience complete with delicious meals and a breathtaking view.
Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival – This annual event runs March 4 – June 1, 2020, and will feature Disney-themed topiaries of your favorite characters. More pop-up food booths and special festival items will be available. Don’t miss the Garden Concert Series running for all 90 days event. Performances are included with park admission and include appearances by Rick Springfield, Berlin, Don McLean, Air Supply, Survivor, and much more!
Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway – Coming March 4th to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, guests will love this cartoon-filled adventure featuring Mickey & Minnie in their first attraction!
Cirque du Soleil: Drawn to Life – Get ready for Cirque do Soleil’s return to Disney Springs with an all-new show where the drawings come to life!
Ratatouille Comes to Epcot! – The sign for Gusteau’s Kitchen has already been hung in the France pavilion, and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is not far beyond with a Summer 2020 opening. Join Remy on an adventure through Gusteau’s and get a mouse’s perspective on life around you!
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival – Celebrating the festival’s 25 th anniversary, there are sure to be plenty of surprises! Meet celebrity chefs, enjoy special food and wine offerings from around the world, and enjoy the Eat to the Beat Concert Series.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party return to the Magic Kingdom for select nights. This is a great opportunity to see favorite characters dressed for the holidays, enjoy a themed parade and fireworks, and be entertained by some special guests.
HarmoniUS debuts at Epcot as the new nighttime show. This new show is the largest ever created for a Disney park and promises to deliver a spectacular display of floats, moving fountains, pyrotechnics and lasers all dancing along to
favorite Disney tunes.
