Parking in Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach for your Disney Cruise is easy when you know your options. Here is a breakdown of possibilities for those that choose to drive to Port Canaveral.
Port Canaveral Parking Garage
This is the most convenient option, but not necessarily the most economical. The parking garage at Port Canaveral is $ 17/day. Note, your arrival and departure day each counts as a day when determining your rate. Parking at the port is convenient and quick. The driver can drop passengers off at the entrance and porters will assist them with their bags prior to entering the parking garage. When disembarking, one member of your party can get the car and pull around to the same drop-off location and load the car with your bags.
Off-site parking
There are quite a few off-site parking options that provide shuttle service to and from the port. The lots are secure for your added piece of mind. A few things to keep in mind when using an off-site lot. Early boarding is generally not an option since the times and frequency of the shuttles vary. Most request that you drop your party off at the port prior to parking your car to reduce the number of people on the shuttle. Some of the locations offer discounts if you book online, so planning ahead is key.
Hotel Options That Offer Stay and Park Options
Both the Country Inn and Suites and the Radisson offer Stay and Park options. This a nice option for those that want a hotel close to the port that provides a nice relaxing way to start your cruise vacation. You can grab breakfast at the hotel before hopping on the shuttle at your scheduled time.
Rental Car
Enterprise, National, Alamo, Budget, Avis, Hertz make renting a car pre and/or post-cruise easy and convenient. Many times, my family will arrive in Orlando the day before our cruise and opt to rent a car, so we can explore Orlando and then drive to the port the next morning. We find it easier to have my husband drop us off at the port and then he returns the car and takes the shuttle. This way, he only has to fit himself on the shuttle rather than all of us and our bags. If you opt to rent a car after the cruise, the shuttles will meet you at the disembarkation area and shuttle you over to their car service areas.
