Whether your family loves eating out at your local hibachi restaurant, or you’ve never tried hibachi before, on your next Walt Disney World vacation be sure to have your Me and the Mouse travel agent reserve for you a lunch or dinner at Teppan Edo, a table service meal located in Japan on the far side of World Showcase Lagoon. Check-in for Teppan Edo is located at the bottom of the stairs to the restaurant which is above the Mitsukoshi department store. It's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow..............." If you are singing along at this point, you are familiar with my favorite classic attraction at Walt Disney World. While some may walk by this classic attraction, this is a "MUST DO" on every visit to the Magic Kingdom for my family. Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress was personally created by Walt Disney for the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. In 1975, the attraction moved to its current location in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. This nostalgic attraction holds a special place in many people's hearts because it is one of the only attractions at Walt Disney World to have been touched by Walt Disney himself. The Carousel of Progress exemplifies Walt's love of history and progress. This attraction highlights the industrial advances over the past century and how they have changed everyday living for the American family. While this show does not typically […]

After you enter Epcot and take your picture by Spaceship Earth, the big golf ball, everyone rushes to their favorite attractions. Test Track, Soarin’ and Frozen Ever After to name a few. What some people don’t realize is that there’s a lot of really cool hands on areas as well as having the opportunity to not only learn more about our world, but there’s also a lot to learn about some of the different countries that are part of our world. Epcot consists of the World Showcase and Future World. Future World has pavilions that are dedicated to such topics as the ocean, space, transportation, agriculture, and innovation. Not only are their fun attractions at some of these pavilions, there’s also an area of hands on fun and learning. For example, after Journeying into the World of Imagination with Figment, you enter into the ImageWorks – The “What If’ Labs. […]

Lights, Camera, Action! Welcome to Disney’s All Star Movies Resort. The All-Star Movies resort is one of three All Star value resorts on Disney property. This resort will get your family into the scenes of some of your favorite legendary Disney movies. I had the opportunity to stay at All Star Movies resort with my family. My kids were enamored by the gigantic character scenes that were located in each of the 5 different themed areas of the resort. These huge scenes are perfect photo opportunities for your family! The rooms (both preferred and standard) are 260 sq. feet and have 2 double beds. They can accommodate a family of four. They can accommodate a family of five if one of the children is under the age of 3 and sleeping in a Pack N’ Play. The rooms do come with a mini fridge, flat screen TV, wireless internet, hair […]

My family and I recently tried the Polite Pig for the first time, and I guarantee it will not be our last!! We were a party of 9 and I wanted to try one of everything, but we did have to leave a few items to try for the next visit! We placed our order at the counter and then found a seat and a server brought the order to us. They were then incredibly helpful and made suggestions of their available sauces and they were right! As you enter the restaurant you are met with an amazing smell of smoked meats and spices! It was difficult to choose from the expansive menu. We did order a variety of entrees and sides. You can even make a meal out of the sides!!! You have the option of choosing three sides for $15! They are plentiful and delicious. We all happily […]
