Plan Ahead

If you have your heart set on staying at Disney's Pop Century Resort, or dining at Be Our Guest or Cinderella's Royal Table, it's essential to plan your Disney vacation at least six months in advance. Not only does this give you the best opportunity that you'll secure reservations at the spots you want to dine or stay at most, but it lets you check on the best deals and promotions on airfare, budget for various trip-related expenses, and avoid the stress of making last minute plans.

Utilize Additional Park Time

When planning your magical vacation, it's important to narrow down what theme parks you want to visit and determine when/if they will offer extended park time, and develop your trip's itinerary accordingly to ensure you'll be able to score a seat to your favorite attractions such as Guardians of The Galaxy and Tron.

Arrive to the Parks Early

If there are popular rides or attractions that you want to visit or ride, it's essential to arrive at the park entrance before opening time - arriving early ensures that you'll be able to ride any of the popular rides you want without waiting an hour+, and see any attractions without the large crowds.

Use Genie Plus

Disney resort guests will be able to select their first Genie Plus and Individual Lightning Lane at 7AM on their park day

Be Ready to Book Dining at 60 Days

Character dining tends to fill up quickly and is located in unique venues that let guests get as close as possible to their favorite Disney characters, such as Sleeping Beauty and Snow White, Mickey and Goofy, and much more. If you want to experience the magic of character dining or score a seat at your favorite theme restaurant, be sure to book your dining reservations as far in advance as possible (at minimum, 60 days before your trip).
