While on your Disney World vacation you’ll experience tons of family fun and once-in-a-lifetime experiences. After you’ve spent a day in the parks or poolside with your family you may want to spend an evening with your significant other in a more grown-up setting. But the kids don’t have to sit through a “boring” night at an elegant restaurant or evening show. There are several child care options within the resorts that are sure to entertain!
When you are a resort guest you can choose from several child activity center locations. All of the clubs have different themes and hours of operation vary. The Neverland Club at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, for example, looks like Wendy Darling’s (from Peter Pan) bedroom. Children enter the club through Wendy’s window and experience an elaborately themed play area. Most recommend a reservation (Camp Dolphin requires a reservation) but walk-ins are welcome when space is available. Children ages 3-12 and fully potty-trained are accepted (Camp Dolphin 4-12 years of age).

The Cub’s Den at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Camp Dolphin at Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel

All clubs are staffed by Disney Cast Members and are available from 4:30 pm – midnight. Your little one can make crafts, play games, watch Disney movies and eat dinner (dinner is included in the price of child care, dining credits can not be accepted). You choose kid-friendly food options when you drop off your child and a snack is provided at 10:00 pm.
Another option for child care when staying at a Disney Resort is in-room kids’ night out. This is one-to-one child care provided in the comforts of your own room. This service includes arts and crafts, reading and playing games and is available for children 6 months to 12 years of age. Hourly rates vary with the number of children to be cared for. There is also a minimum of 4 hours of babysitting and surcharge for sitting after 9 pm. There is also a $10 transportation fee for the sitter.
Bring your family and make your own magical memories!
